- Jimis Burger - Andheri | Today was all about burgers. Now I first want to say sorry for the video quality as I wasn't expecting the music to be soooo loud! Anyways, I really loved the starters but I think Chris and I were both disappointed in the actual burgers. Which is fine and just means, we will have to keep looking!

Jimis was started by Indian metal musician Jimmy Bhore. It's one of the most popular burger joints in the city and you are always gonna have to wait before you get a table here. They have a few more outlets in Mumbai now and one in Jimmy's native place, Sangli.

Hey Max if you are still in Mumbai do visit Joey's pizza it's one of the best pizza in town, you'll get butter chicken pizza, tandoori and many more.
Joeys pizza is absolutely shit they use processed cheese its absolutely horrible and its not even wood fire
few of the best pizza in town is queen margs, 1441 pizzeria etc

I am born and brought up in Bandra, Mumbai. Thanks for showing all this, feels so nostalgic. Ive lived there is 80s and 90s, things have changed so much but some are staple and still exists. Have you tried Yoko Sizzlers yet. Last I was in Mumbai was in 2015, I have paid for the same sizzler when it was Rs 50, and then inflate to 600 in span of 30 years. The music played is the same, nothing changed..and the taste of those sizllers with garlic sauce.hmmm

Bro if you wanna have a proper experience, go to ideal restaurant in Colaba and ask for Raan masala. It’s basically a huge plate with an entire goats leg cooked in the best gravy you’ll ever taste. And the MEAT is to die for. The most tender mutton I’ve ever tasted in my life.
It will make great content. Trust me, you won’t regret it!

Also try visiting Imbiss Meating Joint in Bandra for American and European cuisine. A small joint but serves amazing food.
Fun fact - Jimi’s is started by Jimmy , vocalist for Indian Megal band Zygnema! He started with coking burgers for his band mates and friends during tours ‘n stuff. Started his own shop with a very small mom n pop kinda shop and got really popular . They now have multiple outlets serving lip smacking burgers
But it looks like someone else is cooking the burgers because they were very disappointed with the burgers saying it was very hard, meaning it was over cooked. It is not edible if it is hard. The owner needs to be made aware.

For good Burgers you must go to Goa and Bangalore. I am not very familiar with Mumbai's restaurants but in Goa and Bangalore the burgers are insanely good.
The sad part is that they don't have to, if the cook is instructed on how to cook a burger. it is not not rocket science. They need to use a meat thermometer to make sure they reach the ideal temperature to kill all the bacteria but you don't need to then overcook it and burn it!
The owner needs to know.
Jimis is my most fav burger place , their Bacon cheeseburger is simply awesome

On the contrary Jimis Burger always delivers good quality. You should try their Malad outlet. It might change your opinion.

This is one of my fav spot in Mumbai I’ve been there like a lotta times they have rlly good burgers and I love their cheesy fries they are best thing on the menu. So happy to see you both try it too! ❤

I literally visit Jimi’s so frequently and the more I’ve watched your videos, I was always wondering if we’d ever run into each other. I guess the answer is NEVER 😂
They did not enjoy the food, they both said it was very disappointing. The burger was very hard! That is not the way to cook a burger. Someone needs to tell the chef that is not the right way to cook a burger. They can use a meat thermometer to check it is at the right temperature if they are concerned about eliminating any bacteria. But you don't burn the food to kill the bacteria. You just it to the right temperature on the inside of the burger and you don't need to cook it any more. Since you know them, you could help them by telling them, as their customers will run away if another restaurant that starts selling burgers that are cooked right. Do you understand? An businessperson should be open to feedback. I hate for his busy to go down, because most people don't speak up and help them by telling them there is a problem.

Yuk !!! that's overrated review and price too !! Joey's and Jimmi overlaoded with butter and sauces, Uncles Chinese aslo bad taste. Food should be clean taste of ingredients.
