People in the Himalayan region, especially in Nepal, are familiar with dairy and dairy products, but not cheese in the Western sense.
As the popularity of Western-style cheese consumption begins to spread, Nepalese farmers have started studying cheese-making techniques to add value to their raw milk.
In addition to having an abundance of raw materials to make fresh cheese, Nepal also has cheeses made from special types of animals, which can't be found in the countries that produce the familiar European-style cheeses.
While it's still a small-scale business, it proves that good cheese isn't limited to Europe alone.
