      I have a large rainbow colony about 10 inches long and 5 inches tall. Has striping on the outside brim.

    Future idea for a video. Coral and fish spawning you’ve witnessed: tangs, acros, or even snails

      I had a massive bristle worm spawning a few years ago. Turned my tank milk white and would put Japanese anime to shame 😂😅

    Would love to see you cover Porites in the future. They are so underrated in this hobby.

    I have a Pectinia but it's not P. alcicornis (like space invader) so it doesn't have the spires (and doesn't seem to sting nearby corals). It's purple with orange splashes and I think it's P. africanus and so looks more like an open brain - like a symphillia or something. Cool - but not as cool as the branching varieties like P.elongata - and pygmaeus which I wish we would see in the hobby

    HI, what camera settings do you use to avoid flickering? What else do you use to minimize them? Maybe some lighting changes? I started filming corals and can't find any answers online and you do it so well I'm amazed!

    • @tidalgardens
      @tidalgardens  Před 9 měsíci +1

      Your lighting is the issue. It's flickering at a hz rate that is lining up with the refresh rate of your camera's sensor.

    Am i the only that changed my sleep schedule to feed my corals at night? I now go to bed at 3am to feed my scolymia.

    Do pectinia srart to look "scrunchy" when their getting hit by too much flow or is that normal? Should they always look puffy?
