Guys I did not come up with this method myself. This is a method that was discovered a couple of weeks before I made this video. I know Iâm not always the first person to make these types of videos. If you want to do this faster enter a rank match and loose it...
Then you don't need to go into a den
So you can be right in front of the machine

Guys, just leave pokemon center, press Y go to start a raid someone already has going, once your in before locking in go change the time and re enter the game. It works way faster than going to go find a den. Hope this helps

spent 20 seconds just changing time. Still needs to fly to the Pokemon center, load, enter, load, try the Loto, exit, load, fly back to the wild, load, walk to the den and repeat.
Flying and walking back to a Pokemon Center are both slow
Great video but that bugged me
Takes me about 15 secs, to skip the day forward. Another 15 to get to the poke center and start the lotto. Thereâs also an even faster method now too.
you can do it a lot faster. If you go to vs, go to battle and start a ranked battle, then just run/quit that battle, you can change the time anywhere you want so there is no need to fly back and forth

I was skeptical for some reason but I have 3 master balls now but It did take me a few hours across 2 days to wonder trade alot of my pokemon. Another good way was to use the wonder box on my phone in PokĂ©mon home to get 10 unique trainer idâs every trade.

Wait so you have to go to the den and reset date there every time? Why wouldnât it work just by resetting the date without going to the den?

If you have Nintendo Online, definitely use the vs. battle, casual battle method rather then changing date through the den. Once the battle starts, press home button, click airplane mode. Once you exit the battle, you can now freely stand in front of the pc and spam the the lotto while changing the date without walking anywhere. I suggest you do handheld mode as using the touch screen is quicker to navigate through the home menu! Good luck!

I wishes they do the same for the rare pokeballs like, lure, love, moon, level friendship, heavy, safari and dream balls because they're my favourites and make it easiers to get them from the champion rematch battle.
the better way to change the date is in handheld mode go to a casual battle then as soon as the card things pop up turn on airplane mode then dont press close on the box but go to the home menu and turn on airplane mode it will kick you out of match then you can change date then reload area
but the thing is that you have to only do it once and can change the date 10x quicker

actually you get 2 masterballs... 1 from the Professor Magnolia (Sonia grandma) and 1 from Peony (that adventure guy) in Crown Tundra
You can get another one in crown tundra by following the story
Except for when you don't. I used dive balls for my 2 Shiny Magikarps and a primier ball for Eternatus.
It's a random comment but I remember going onto a online raid and I ran into a shiny metagross and I don't even have the expansion so to me this was so rare especially cuz it was shiny so I we finally defeated it and I threw a FRICKING ULTRA BALL but it broke free so I am still devastated to this day
Getting a Roto ID to match for the Master Ball is maybe one out of a million chance? Take it from me.
I had to use a Master Ball to catch Zapdos, but when I come face to face with Moldres and the other Pokémon in the Isle of Armor and Crown Tsundra, it was *impossible* to catch with normal balls.
I'm still stuck on it and my friends don't have really any more Master Balls to trade. I would suggest seeing if someone has a lot of Master Balls and seeing if they can let you have it.
Here's how to trade Master Balls!
*Place a Master Ball on the Pokémon you are willing to trade before you give it to the player*
*Trade the Pokémon with the Master Ball*
It's as easy as that and if you want to give back the Pokémon after the trade, you can!
Or you could be half awake and waste my master ball on a glaceon..

why is everyone using worng numbers? when you have 1/10 for every number and there are 5 numbers which have to be the same yes it would be (1/10)^5 =1/100'000 but you have 6 numbers and one of them can be wrong which means you get a 10/10 percantage for the 6th number. now we have 10/100'000. and it doesen't matter which number is the wrong one which means we get 6 of those possibilities ---> 60/100'000 which is 1/16'666
and no you can't divide this number throug IDs because they could be repetitiv and the possibility increases slower with each ID theoretically

The odd for the lottery are crap, I've only hit the rare candy once and it claimed it was the first place item so unless the master ball is a special rank I don't see how a rare candy is first place compared to a master ball. This is with several boxes of wonder traded pokemon (dunno how many but a lot of them).

In my ultra moon game I had 7 masterballs but I used 4 of them on meme pokemon and a shiny alolan ratatta
if you dont have nintendo online just transfer pokeon to pokemon home and use random room trade
I just do it this way. other way may be faster, but too hard for me to understand. but i managed to get 2 master balls within a 24 hour time frame.

Did you fill your boxes with unique ID PokĂ©mon? if you donât then yes. It will take you ages to get a master ball.

Don't get your hopes up too much. I have all my boxes and my party filled with surprise traded pokemon and have been trying the lotto for 3 hours and still haven't gotten a masterball.
I got like 9 without farming because of the hacker bots. I have the ball, but not PokĂ©mon since I donât want a hacked PokĂ©mon ban risk.
With surprise trade is it fixed now so hacked mons don't get traded?

curious as to where you're getting these odds after trading from? Why does it suddenly jump from a 1/100,000 chance before trading to a 1/65,536 chance afterwards for one ID? Sorry if that's a dumb question. Thanks for sharing this, definitely going to try it out!
Because there are only 65,536 possible unique I.D.s available which would create that odd. Without a single unique I.D. You would be working with the normal odds that the game has programmed. Hopefully that makes sense!

If you are the host then it is a 100% chance so if u defeat a shiny then u will at least get 1

Guys, these odds still do not guarantee you will get a Master Ball in 30 minute. This is basically a version of shiny hunting with variable odds depending on how many traded mons with different IDs you have. Even with 20 boxes of Pokemon, it's still random and just like with shiny hunting, you can get the result in first try or do 5000 tries before you finally hit the jackpot.
Flexoo TO exactly. Now doing this method gives you better odds than shiny hunting and you can try the lotto faster than you can farm shinies using the mesuda method. so youâll end up getting master balls much quicker than you will shinies but youâre correct. Could take you 5 minutes or 5 hours. Definitely worth it though especially to have some for gigantamax shinies

Thatâs weird. Are you connected to the internet? Make sure it shows that youâre connected in the y-comm feature
make sure it's on internet communication, you also need Nintendo switch online
Make sure you have switch online and when you are in the y comm press the + bottom on your controller to connect to the internet

@@DEADonXombie Well I think I got pretty lucky with my attempts the first time I tried it. I had 9 boxes of trades and got one after 7 day skips forward (I was shocked), and another 30 or so to get a second one. Haven't gotten another one since, and I've tried about 150 days worth of skips lol

I got one this morning doing this. I've been surprise trading starters since Christmas Eve from shiny hinting and IV chasing. Took me around 270 days because I'm a little under 20 boxes full. Started on yesterday's date until October 10 is the date I got my master ball. I'm going to continue and see if I get another one around the same time frame. Hope that helps.

On our first trial its even a single code battle was working perfectly, but from that day on it doesn't work anymore.

Can you release the boxes of Pokémon you are given or do they have to be physically in your boxes to register in the lotto?
As far as I can tell they need to be in your party or in boxes for it to work. Having all of your boxes full will drastically increase your odds. Especially if they are surprise traded Pokémon

If you move forward one day, try the lotto and then move back to the current day you wonât be able to try the lotto again. Youâll have to move it forward again to be able to try the lotto a second time. I hope that makes sense!
Also you have to wait a full 24 hours after using the lotto for it to work without switching the days if I remember it correctly.
