HARDCORE NUZLOCKE RULES (POKEMON HARD MODE)

1. Only Pokemon with a Steel-typing can be used in battle.
2. I can only try to catch the first Steel-type that I encounter in each area.
3. If a Pokemon faints it cannot be used for the remainder of the run.
4. If my whole team faints then the attempt is over.
5. No items in battle (held items are okay).
6. Set mode enabled.
7. I cannot over-level beyond the highest level of the next gym. The level cap is shown in the overlay.
8. No duplicate species can be caught. Encounters for species that I have caught previously are re-rolled.
9. Any shiny Steel-type can be caught regardless of whether it is the first encounter of an area.
10. WILD AREA: Limit of one initial encounter on my first visit and one additional encounter for each gym badge. Isle of Armor encounters are included in this limit.

The aron line is my favorite I just love how much of a tank it is, and mega aggron is my second favorite mega evaluation. Although mega aggron isn't in SwSh I still used its based form in my play through, so I have a extreme love for the aron line.

Durant will always be my fav steel type pokemon, hits like a truck with life orb and hustle, is fast, good typing, and really helped me in my nuzlocke
Excadrill has always been my favorite steel type. But after this Aegislash is looking pretty awesome.
You can do a lot of cool things with Aegislash's gimmick and unique typing but Excadrill is damn fine
My favourite steel type would have to be Empoleon. I love the fact he becomes a water/steel upon evolution and that he is a penguin. Who doesn't love penguins? Piplup has always been my favourite sinnoh starter and I am very much looking forward to using Empoleon in BDSP.

My favorite steel type is Lucario. I love the whole aura concept and the fact that it is also a fighting type. Plus, it looks amazing and I love the fact that it’s so powerful when it comes to physical attack.

It’s amazing how you meticulously plan for every big encounter. Whether it’s changing the items or your moves depending on the fight. Like the sand slash focus sash + hail combo to boost his speed to take out the Dragapult was so clever. Subscribed! :D
I love the Magnemite line. Scizor is a close second, but I remember being super hyped when Magnezone was revealed.
Aegislash is my favorite Pokémon of all. Sword dance and automize is just too good when you are reinforced tank especially with iron defense. It’s just you making the opponent watch as a monster grows before their eyes. Also with leftovers king shield becomes a good stalling tactic to get the most out of stat raises.

I have so many favorite steel types but I can definitely say bronzong has always been my favorite. I love it’s Aesthetic and the levitate with rain dance and occa berry set up is amazing
Your editing is so clean and precise. You update your Pokemon team (some CZcamsrs really forget that sometimes - it's not the end of the world but it is nice :) and also precising what items do as well as abilites, it's awesome).

As for a favortie steel type, it might be not very original and a bit of a classic, but I do really love Steelix's design. Big metal snake, love it.
Although Bastiodon is not far behind : team dinosaur baby for they are so cool ! It's basically a hornless steel triceratops. The one who designed it was after my own heart (did I mention that dinosaurs are really cool ? lol)
Scizor is my favourite steel type because its so freaking cool and it just single handedly swept aaron, bertha, lucian and half of cynthias team.. Sword Dance and bullet punch is just flat out broken

Mine is scizor, growing up with gen 2 and having liked scyther I felt scizor was such a cool concept, great design and I never had anyone to trade with so I never got a chance to use one early games, think made me want it more
I feel the same! Love Scizor but just never got to use it
@@KeeganJ and I feel that’s a quality with your newer games, it gives people the option to experience these trade pokemon or other characteristic Pokémon which we might have not got to experience in earlier games

The Honedge line are my favorite steel types. The concept of swords possessed by a ghostly spirit is just awesome.

My favorite steel type is Metagross because I loved seeing Steven use it in the Mega Evolution Special and I use it during the Emerald post game and it's just awesome to use everywhere

My all time favorite steel type has to be the Klink evolution line, just so incredibly simple yet it works, I also like the Honedge line too. Oh and love the name you chose for the Meowth, Rammstein.
Scizor has alway been one of my favorite of all Pokémon. That being said,I love steel Pokémon, since it’s my favorite type, so I have my honorable mention too: Aegislash, Megaerna, Corvinight, Scarmory, Empoleon, Lucario, Magnezone, Aggron, Metagross, Escadrill, Alola Sandlash, Bisharp (and the new Husui Goodra too) have all perfect design to my eyes!

My favorite steel is Excadril. I just love drilbur and Excadril. The steel ground combo with his speed and sand force ability is just beast.
I would say Bisharp is my favorite steel type because of its secondary dark typing dealing more damage to ghost and psychic

My favorite steel type is Scizor. Because of it's speed stat and it's typing bug steel type which makes it quad weak to fire but still I love it's typing, it's name, everything.
My favorite steel type is also my favorite in general, Ferrothorn. It's not because of competitive use either. I learned about it before I knew what competitve was. I just like it for some reason.

I've done a Grass, Waterw Fire & I'm busy with a Normal type nuzzlocke...als of them were pretty fun.

I love steel types as much as I love dragons, psychics, and electrics. My fav steel and overall pokemon is the Magnet line especially Magnezone followed by Lucario, Bronzong, Metagross, Dialga and Solgaleo, Scizor, Skarmory, and Aegislash for favourite steel types.
This was actually my first monolocke! I wiped 12 times to Kabu…!

@@ReyR99 wiping in a nuzlocke is loosing all ur Pokémon in a fight and loosing. A monolocke means u only use one type of Pokémon in a nuzlocke.
That Kabu fight is treacherous, let alone with some pretty weak Steel-types! I spent well over 2 hours planning a strategy that was safe, without sacrificing too many mons... RIP Stunfisk + Meowth :(

I also did a Shield Steel only Run it wasnt a nuzlocke because im not the best at nuzlockes but i didnt lose to kabu so that was cool. Excadrill was easily my best member as it was the reason i beat Leon’s charizard. An honorable mention to Bisharp as it pulled its weight aswell

I subscribed I love doing monotype runs they're so much fun and a good challenge, I'm glad other people love doing monotype runs too, I'm currently doing a monotype ghost run of Arceus
My favorite steel type is aegislash a fun pokemon to use with the combo of stances and kings shield being super fun I remember it giving me so much trouble when I was a kid playing pokemon x but I love the evo line so much I also love ghost types so it works out amazingly
My brother's favourite type makes it's debut. I'm sure in about a day or two he'll be sending me this as evidence that Steel is the superior typing and how big brained he is.

Post watch edit: Man, out of the aura powered raccoon, the demon excavator mole and the possessed blade and shield, who would have guessed that the keyring would carry most of the run? Go Klefki.
Most people will take the MVP as Lucario, Excadrill etc. but I absolutely agree. SO many fights were made manageable by Klefki's screens and it's ability to handle Fighting-types was huge. House Keys OP!
@@KeeganJ lucario is my favorite steel but i love magneton just cause of how OP it is in pokemon go, the stell/electric equivelent of the overpowered and stupidly easy to get rhydon
@@Steven-tc4vl steel and fairy are probs the best types, that's why most people would call one of them the "supererior" types
To be fair, Steel/Fairy types generally can punch higher than their class and that’s because Steel/Fairy is one of the best typings for a Pokémon to have. If a Pokémon sucks after that they are designed to suck what with mismatched movepool or super shallow movepool, or a weak movepool without Technician, or was designed like Rampardos/Reshiram/Aurorus (hits hard but is too slow for its own good but too fast for web teams or trick room teams for the power it’s expected to have).
Steel/Fairy is very great defensively. Steel already covers many typings. Steel, however, is weak to Fighting and is neutral against Dark types, which Fairy defends against both and is super-effective against both. Fairy is weak to Poison and Steel, but Steel negates the Poison weakness of a Fairy-type and turns Steel into a neutrality. Therefore, your only weaknesses are Ground and Fire attacks.
Fairy attacks, like Dazzling Gleam, are spammable. But Steel attacks aren’t too bad either. Thus, you have a typing that can tank many hits provided decent stats and has nice STABs against most Pokémon.

My favorite Steel type would probably be Skarmory. I like things that look like they have high attack stats with precision instead of brute force ( which is why I like Scyther over Scizor and wouldn't like things like Slaking ) and Skarmory fits that in terms of looks. I also am using one in my Pokemon Rayquaza Open World Emerald ( A Pokemon Emerald ROM Hack ) and I don't think I'd change it ( unless I swap it for Aggron for any weird reason )
Scizor is not only my favorite Steel type, but also my favorite Pokémon! He’s super cool and I’ve had many great experiences with Scizor!

My favourite steel type would be Mawile. The first time I saw it in Ruby, I just fell in love with its super weird, awkwardly cute design. And especially in the early game, it's pretty strong, too. But I also quite like Klefki, even though I despised it when I first saw it. Generally not a big fan of object pokémon, but for Klefki I made an exception.
QOTD: Lucario. It’s the only Steel-type Pokémon I’ve ever used more than once.

The early game is rough (especially without DLC) but if you can make it passed Kabu, the run becomes much more manageable after that!
I would say aggron, cause i remember using one in a emerald hack rom gameplay (never played the real game, i pretend one day), but skarmory is definitely my favorite. His design is epic, is solid, is badass. I used one in Moon emerald (i really need to play the original emerald) and I liked to spam fly and metal claw at the others. I didn't took it to the elite four, but still, it was the first option to fly through the region.
I have tried a nuzlocke but I sucked at it and Keegan J is really strategic with the battles.
My fav steel type pokemon it's Aggron. The one who can make strong with Rock polish and weakness policy. I always love this pokemon like steel type after pokemon Platinum and i almost never lose battles, gyms and elite with Aggron

My favorite steel pokemon is alolan sandshrew and sandslash they are super cool and i love sandshrew i used it on my sword playthrough and it carried my team through the game

My favorite steel type is Steelix. My first steel type Pokemon card was Steelix I believe and I just remember loving it. It's huge and fearsome, with a simple yet badass design. My last run of Johto I had a Steelix and it soloed Lances team (Minus the Charizard 😂) which just made me love it more.
Meltan is my favorite steel type. But I love Melmetal, Ferroseed, Ferrothorn, Forretress and Probopass too

I know it’s 4x weak… but Skarmory has been my single favorite Pokémon since I first discovered the games. I remember watching a CZcams named SuperSkarmory and he was an absolute legend. My 8-10 yr. old self would be glued to him playing through the games while I was following right behind him. Skarmory has since held a special place in my heart and whenever I encounter it in the wild, I always add it to the squad. Ethan, if you’re somehow EVER seeing this, I hope you’re doing well.
Scizor it’s always been one of my favourites because it’s a fast hard hitter that’s famous for sweeping fantina falkner and killing garchomp in my b&p run
Way back since generation 3 I have loved Mawile. Wasn't the best battler until it got a mega evolution boost, and now it's fairy type makes it a bit more versatile but still a difficult Pokémon to use. I just like the idea of someone going 'aww so cute' and then it chomping their trespassing hands off in retailiation ^.^

My fav steel type is either Galarian stuntfisk or Galarian meowth line I just like viking based pokemon and a bear trap pokemon

Honestly I think either aegislash or metagross are my favorite steel types, and it’s probably due to my ghost bias (my favorite type) for aegislash, and from experience, metagross is pretty powerful
Please do a flying type only nuzlock, Its my favorite type and I love how all the regional birds are awesome, and the many different pokemon based off birds are really strong.

My favorite steel type Pokémon is copperajah. Elephants are also my favorite animals and the steel type is also my favorite type. Also, you could’ve copperajah, just slap an iron ball onto it, and it can pretty much sweep any team.
