Just my opinion only, spamming calm mind , acid armour and baton pass is a good strategy, but for a video sake is kinda too repetitive and lose out on the entertainment of a nuzlocke should have.
I had limited options for Pokemon to use, I REALLY didn't want to lose any. Like only 7 choices to use, and I couldn't catch a 2nd Eevee. But I still didn't Toxic Stall, actually I don't think I could with my options. Plus during the run I was doing over some pokemon's EVs a few times which took a while to grind Berries. I'm just happy the thing's done.
@@ToasterCorgiGaming It got the job done and the available encounters for this challenge were super limited. And as someone who did this sort of run, yes, Chien Pao is pretty broken (just ridiculously strong and fast with the type coverage to back it up). Umbreon I think could've been an encounter as well as Leafeon (if you wanna count them as cat Pokemon) but tedious grinding does suck the fun out of the run.
@@ShiningJudgment666 I REALLY wanted Chien Pao (Saber-Toothed Snow Noodle), but trying to catch it would very likely kill my team, and yes I learned later on during one of the Rodent-Only Nuzlocke Live Streams that I could've caught the other Wild Eeveelutions. But it's whatever now, may do Dogs-Only after I obtain the DLC & finish the current Nuzlocke (Need DLC to stand a chance after what happened). There's ONE in particular that MUST be on that team though, no excuses for me.
