How to fix swollen phone battery, phone battery repairing.
Today i will show you how to fix bulges cell phone battery with easy steps do it yourself, this trick will work for few weeks not for long time.
Sometimes, when a battery goes bad, the internal cells rupture and cause a bulge to appear in the phone battery.
Bulging batteries mean only one thing- buildup of gas inside mobile phone battery like Samsung phone battery i phone etc. The gases are produced due to electrochemical oxidation of the electrolyte. Such oxidation occurs usually due to overcharging of the battery due to a faulty battery, or faulty charging electronics in the phone and battery charger, solve this problem in 1 seconds.

Wow, no...no no no no. If a battery has swollen that means components have broken down and it is producing gasses internally (that causes the swelling) not only are these gasses under great pressure but also are likely flammable. You could easily cause a fire or even cause a small explosion, dispose of such batteries properly and with caution! *DO NOT DO THIS*

Fully discharging the battery just ruins it even more. and it's well documented why you shouldn't recharge a fully discharged battery (one that is below 3volts). So now you have disregard 2 critical points when it comes to safety. You might as well whack it with a hammer now 🤣🤣🤣

Don't understand why everyone is claiming explosion, fire and danger. You don't nail through battery but just puncture a tiny hole on surface for build up gas to escape.

Just buy a new battery! A safe battery. What do I mean by safe? It's about these 1-2 extra "connectors" that's not + and -. That's for safety and the cheap ones got only a resistor, do not buy those. The good and safe ones got a small curcuit that will stop charging if there's any overheat or something else. That's why some replacement batteries can be VERY cheap, but do not buy those. Always remember that safety is number one priority!

    Great video!!!
Ignore those who frown upon you. I am about to do this. As I have studied some physics I can tell you
that its NOT going to explode or burn if it is discharged and short circuited (0 Volt).
However I will do it with gloves and outside, because I dont want to inhale those gases.

      @WXKFA Před 5 lety +2

Peti charge level does not matter if gas is already released. depending on the bulge the amount might be small enough to only cause a relatively harmless flash. people dont realise how much hydrogen you actually need to cause a harmful explosion

    Dont play with lithium batteries.
🤔You can try this in the time of diwali.🤔
But im not responsible for anything that happens bcoz of this lithium cracker.😂😝.
LOL,its a joke dont try this.!!
    Another method:
Is to store all the swollen and waste batteries in plastic box and dispose it in a right and cautious manner.
Then buy a new battery which supports ur mobile.
    It wont cost much.!!

jeez, I have been using Samsung note 4 WITH THAT SWOLLEN BATTERY FOR A GOOD YEAR, with continuous charge since it would shut off anytime. Thank Allah, we got a new battery which I've been operating for 2 days now. It discharges a bit faster than usual and takes A LOT of time to recharge but eh
