From 2,000HP Cars to wild EV swapped Ferrari's, SEMA has ALWAYS been known to bring the wildest, and sometimes most controversial cars to center stage. We saw the Vaydor get ridiculed and a Trans Am get praised, but the real question is if it's worth going? Well let's jump in as I talk about it, some of my personal favorite cars & parts, and then answer from my old Wi opinion. Enjoy the style of the video? let me know because i'm still making it all up as I go along. TODAY'S video is about the question I saw 9 million times on Tiktok "Should I go to SEMA?!" and well, the answer is yes, and there's a few reasons why. If you know me, you know I love making content, but also being a part of the industry that actually makes the parts we buy. So when I go to SEMA and get to meet with brands, clients, and drivers for MetaMartini, MartiniWorks, or AlexMartini, i'm freaking jazzed. Let me know what you thought of my picks below as well, I know I have too soft of a spot for Datsun's but I can't help myself ;p

I think both the people at SEMA and the car community have to understand that this is not a car show. SEMA is a trade show for the aftermarket industry to showcase new products and to facilitate networking between businesses and brands. People on the internet love to roast Bluetooth driveshafts and wireless wiring harnesses, but reality is the cars are there to bring attention to the new products, its not a competition of who has the best car, thats what Battle of the Builders is for. SEMA is not what it used to be in the 00s and with the pandemic things havent been the same, I do hope the show gets back to what it used to be.
From the Uniclutch shoutout(?), ad(?), pitch thing(?) to the trans am was all great😂🔥great work on that and showing off a few bits of the show. Cant wait to make it out there one day
Wow! You're right, that Mercedes is so darn cool! I want a street version of the UniClutch for my G so bad! Motive has one in their Z with positive street reviews. Comes pre-assembled so you can't warp your pressure plate trying to finish up after work but before sales closes. That Trans Am! SEMA goal car at 20, man's kicking ass!
The clutch seems cool, anything that makes converting cars to manual or adding in a trans at all easier is a plus.
And the Clutch thing really is what's up!
I thought it was really dope because i'm not an expert in clutch stuff so to see it simplified without losing the functionality was something I thought i'd share!

I saw the uniclutch like a month ago as an ad on facebook i was like hold up..wtf thats....amazing. hopefully they work out and change the industry in a good way

Other than the semafails bluetooth axles and such which have become a mainstay, this seems to have been one of the best semas while, or maybe I'm just numb to the fail circus and happy some of my favorite car youtubers got to experience sema
The idea of the modular clutch is super cool. I really hope it works as well as promised, as that would mean that changing a clutch has been made a lot cheaper and more convenient, too.

Cavan goes to my school and he’s becoming a Motorsport engineer. His dad was an indycar mechanic. The kid busted his ass like crazy to get the car ready all the while getting his degree.
