I followed him since the first time I saw that guy playing for Brighton. Such a clever and elegant player and he is enjoying himself while playing. Also had a really good World cup. We missed that kind of a player since Gini left. Great signing for the Reds!

But you are right in that once he hits that final third he is an upgrade on everything we have. His pressing is also similar to Gini, but he will have to step it up another level.

Gini gameplay is more on physicality, pressing than control.
Macallister will be the tempo controller in the midfield/box to box midfielder. A role played by gundogan in man city; alot of that was lacking last season when thiago got injured this season.
