      It doesn’t take much to guess why that is the case. Just look at how MSM coverage is on Tory and Labour government. Completely differently. Media bosses are all conservatives so no surprises there and journalists will kiss the backside of their editors and their agendas to keep their jobs rather than honest independent journalism which is few and far between. It’s emerging more now due to social media platforms so hopefully legacy media will die out eventually over time and bring power to the real truth. We can only hope!

      Unfortunately, can you guarantee that it is JUST a Tory problem ? There's a Polish saying. The trough remains the same. Only the pigs (will) have changed.
      NB. Tony Blair and His Lordship Peter Mandelson, seem to be buzzing around Keir Starmer an awful lot recently. They can sense all that lovely power, that will soon be within reach. I doubt that Labour will be as bad as the Tories; at least I hope they won't. But I doubt they'll be perfect either.

    The NHS has professional procurement teams that knew what was required and had all the contacts required with established PPE firms all they needed was a budget to work to.. as it was the Cabinet office was given an impossible task whilst being pushed by MPs to accept bids from their mates with shell companies established overnight to launder the cash… and provide overpriced and often defective or inappropriate PPE or nothing at all. As with every other enquiry any investigation will run on for ever until the evidence is lost just like with Saville … and then ‘lessons will be learned’ or not.. would it not be wonderful if one day the guilty were held to account…

    I watched the select committee interviews. Long-established NHS companies couldn't get sign off on 100000 ppe contracts. Yet a fund manager did. No experience of supplying ppe. Tory party has lost any decency.

    But it was Jeremy Hunt who, in 2016, was told (Operation Cygnus) of the desperate inadequacy of the national reserves of PPE - and decided to do nothing to rectify the deficiency. And it was that deficiency which left hospital staff working without essential PPE and many of them losing their lives as a direct consequence - of Jeremy Hunt. King
