You say 7/32nd Hex, but your wrench appears to be a Torx and my car has T15 Torx screws there. Might be helpful for those who share the situation. A screwdriver that takes bits is too long to get the top screw on my car, I need a short little wrench like you use, but in T15 Torx. Hopefully this helps others.

They choose the worst place to put this filter 😐. Worst design ever! You even have to fold the filter to be able to fit it!!!
