I have the decathlon est900 and it's a fantastic hard tail, it's 4 years old and has never let me down, it's taken me on some fantastic rides and adventures.

Got my first emtb on Saturday Got my peddles yesterday so today is the first day nits going out can't wait! I got them Nukeproof sam hill oil slick pedles for my cube 160 action team and they look amazing on the blue bike

@19min in... Pretty awesome to know. I'm super stoked with mine. Picked it up last year. I threw a dropper on it and built up a more "burly" wheelset for more intense "off-road" riding but will switch that back to the stock wheelset for road and gravel touring. Two bikes in one! If anyone is looking for an amazing bang for the buck pedalec, this is it!

Hi Steve, Rear mud Guard for fully´s and up until now the best i`ve found is the Mudrocker from SKS. Have had it for 2 years now and been really satisfied.
Great video as usual - I know you do a lot of work with Canyon - Can you pester them as to why they still do not sell/ship any of their e-bikes in Canada? I can't make any sense of it and never get any information from the folks on their chat. If you could shed some light on this it would be great.
to be honest i don't think the opinions about emtbs's have changed, i just think people have become more educated and accepting the change, but many reasons for getting into the ebike game remain the same. i.e. covering more distance with the same effort, being able to cover higher ground, replacing slow uplifts etc

Hello my Question has to do with my 2023 ROSSIGNOL MANDATE SHIFT DEORE 12 with the EP8. I rode about 500 miles and currently on my 3rd motor (all had e010 error) My super crazy son (Eastern States Cup Racer) has a 2022 MANDATE SHIFT XT with 2K miles and no problems absolute dream. Here is the question "Does a pedal strike accelerate the potential for this error?" the last motor died on a ride that started with a good bit of climbing and the motor got rather loud, then I had a pedal strike (not to hard) and the motor got very quiet and in the next ten minutes it got loud again. The trail had a washout and as I walked the bike around it the error popped up an I was done. Shimano was very good about replacing it both times but lost 8 weeks of riding total and my LBS charged me $250 both times for labor. Love the show! I never miss one and always get a thumbs up.

Old v New. I,ve still got and love my Trek Powerfly 5 fs from 2018. It,s been through a lot of s#*t in it,s life and never let me down. I keep looking at new bikes but then come to my senses and think why spend the money when I,m still loving and having fun on my bike that now owes me nothing.
Well that made me laugh a debate on rear mudguards... lol
If you look closely it's a hack from another mudguard as I don't really like the full plank type but it's a half measure that protects the shock and seatpost but no much good in keeping me dry... lol that's taken care with long waterproof pants hahaha awesome

Those horses in Nevada are wild. They walk through my neighborhood everyday and I ride trails that they create.
Are they good at building features? Do they prefer doubles or are they happy to shift the dirt for tables? We have so many questions!!

Ikki in Japanese is pronounced closer to e-Ki, and means first* which may be why they chose to name their first ebike that.
*depending on context, ikki can also mean same/identical, solely, all, and little).

Hey guy, Im taking my new ebike out tomorrow now got everything prepped like discs sanded for bedding in bolts checked etc, but it being a brand new 750w battery will it go through the juice alot more on it's first outting? I'll be staying relatively close to home just incese, its just the unknown with these emtbs just now for me wondering do these batteries get better with your riding do they learn our usage like our phones and smartwatches do? I'm just a bit paranoid as brand new first ebike, first bike for for atleast 15 year's thanks to the channel for giving me my confidence back to get another bike after a bad accident doing DH many moons ago! coming from the Giant atx one and two and kona stinky I'm sure this is going to be an experience and a half this cube action team! 160 ebike! The things a tank can't believe how different the size is to my old DH stinky haha! This is going to be something to remember!
Hi Dude bike batteries don't learn they just do what they are told 🙂, you haven't said what bike or motor system but all the big brands have an app to tailor the way the motor uses the battery, this channel has done videos on that subject as have other channels. That way you can set whether you want to use the battery for more assistance or more range. It's a learning exercise so enjoy riding the new bike and set it up how it works for you over time.
It won't go through more juice, the range will stay the same (if you ride the exact same route in the same conditions) as long as you take proper care of the battery. Lithium batteries prefer to be ran flat then charged back up to full, this will prolong the life of your battery and keep it's capacity. However if you can't/don't want to run your battery flat as long as it's nearly there you will be fine. Make sure that you are storing/charging your battery indoors as well over winter (batteries don't like the cold 🥶)

Here in the US Yamaha is offering a free 2nd battery, plus customer cash (voucher for in store purchases) for their Moro line of Ebikes, the battery alone is a 1400 dollar value. I've got a Moro Pro and it is a great bike, too bad deals like this sort of kill my resale value, I'd be lucky to get 2500 for the bike.
That seat tube is so long though on the Ikki. A weak spot?

The set is a bit too small to have a ride around unfortunately! If there was an issue with the motor however, especially water ingress Giant bikes will switch themselves off 🤙

Wish i would have never brought the specialized turbo levo alloy 2022, i paid £4600 brand new they dont hold the money, they have dropped sooo much😮 i would ADVISE anyone to buy used dont buy new your waisting your money HONESTLY!!! so many used ebikes on the market and cheap and hardly been ridden 👍🏼👍🏼

That Decathlon is well overpriced. My Orbea M10 with 360w battery and 60nm shimano motor weighs 18.5 kg with pedals, (similar to Ikki) and was 1000s less.
No way you can justify that extortionate price tag. These kind of prices just alienate new riders or experienced ones. And then the industry wonders why manufactures/shops are going bankrupt. Listening to you guys is like listening to politicians talk about their expenses and the economy etc.
