Steve introduces Mitch, a friend who started a website to help ordinary folks restore their historic wood windows. Check out his website at lowbudgetwindowrestoration.com.
What a coincidence! That’s funny how that worked out with both of you being in the same trade. I checked out the page. It’s pretty cool. I was hoping that I could just read up on some stuff that I’d like to learn but as with everything these days, even knowledge isn’t free anymore. That’s why I like your channel, Steve. You’re passing on the knowledge for free which is how it should be. I will gladly teach anybody anything that I know how to do if they are wanting and willing to learn and not ask a dime. Meanwhile, I’m broke all the time. Strange how that works. 🤷♂️
I’m wanting to create a set of two casement windows with a center picture and I’d like to use energy efficient glass and seals. I’m thinking your site may have the supply house information…. :)
Cool story Guys Thx! Mitch, "metal and wood w's on the same house". Do you see the vertical and horizonal panes in the same view? If so is that a problem? ps.. Took a screenshot of the window "Cornice" (if that's what it's called?). Stops the air flow; helping the R value. 👍

Can one become a window guru without growing a beard?
