Czech Police Cruiser Siren Demo - wail, fast/ yelp, Italian ambulance 2-tone, HiLo, horn [CZ 5.2019]

- Here's one of the videos that I always wanted to get, a complete siren demo of a Czech state police (Policie ČR) cruiser! 😊 The Holomy siren on this rig features the following tones: wail; yelp; fast yelp; hi-lo; Italian ambulance 2-tone as well as a normal horn. The horn also activates when the driver is honking the normal car horn.
The only tone that was not on this cruiser was an unusual one which can be heard here • Czech Police Parade | ... as well as a piercer tone which can be heard at 1:26 in the same video.

I'm surprised by the quality of the sound. Someone could easily use these in a game.
True! That's something I've always liked about my old camera - the microphone is really good and never had any issues :)

Well Holomy is ok I'd say. Better than e.g. the German manufacturers but I still wouldn't really recommend their stuff. The only reason why the Czech Police has Holomy is because they're the cheapest. Otherwise the Czech Police is using Whelen on most of the non-patrol vehicles.
Would love to see such a video with one of the newer Octavias or the new Kodiak (czcams.com/video/3pRRKoYaZaw/video.html) which looks amazing, but with the current situation, I guess it won't be coming anything soon, right?
And about the siren on this one, even this older generation (before switching to Soundoff tones - Holomy has a partnership with Soundoff and even the siren controller is basically a rebranded Soundoff hand-held controller) is supposed to have 7 or 8 tones I believe, and those missing ones are apparently the ones in the video you linked in the description.
Hell yeah! 😁 That's actually a big thing on my to do list! I wanted to showcase the Czech Police fleet since a long time already. Hope to be able to do that next year but I'd need some contacts at PCR too. The new cruisers and especially the 2 new Kodiaqs are freaking amazing! I would absolutely love to get videos of those Kodiaqs, especially because of the outstanding light setup (with the Whelen Arges search light) :) Right now I just have some response videos of the new cruisers but I hope that someday I can get a full vehicle tour as well as a siren demo :)

Not really. It's hard to get video shoots with police vehicles. I'd love to showcase more Czech police vehicles and do some siren demos but police station visits are hard to get.

The fourth siren is similar to the Italian Ambulance and Fire Department
To much hi-lo tones but it's nice overall. I am planning to do the same in my country.
Personally I'm not a big fan of the hi-lo but it's a standard tone with the Holomy siren. It's quite interesting that this siren also features the Italian ambulance 2-tone! :) Too bad the standard cruisers just have the cheap Holomy lights and sirens. Other Czech police vehicles usually have Whelen lights and sirens and those feature around 65 tones. :D

It's one of the tones that was already programmed. Not sure how you can change (or even IF you can change) the siren tone setup on those Holomy sirens.

Otřesný, fakt. Nejlepší to mají ty Octávie s rámem a i ty bez nich. To jsou aspoň příjemné a moderní sirény jak z USA, né nějaký italský sračky a podobně. Hnus!
Personally I think that the sirens on the newest cruisers are not great either. They're way too quiet. The Whelen sirens on the VW T6 vans are awesome: czcams.com/video/IFPuEK2Yp6g/video.html
@@Rummeltobi I agree, this transporter from the link also has one of those American sirens. But the ones I mentioned are good quality, even though they may be quieter. It's still better than that European shit - sorry.
@@fanosekkomety I know that Holomy and most of the European stuff is just shit 😄 Personally I always heard the Holomy sirens earlier than the SoundOff Signal sirens on the new Octavia cruisers. I wish Policie CR would finally move to complete Whelen setups on all vehicles but I know that some of their recent public tenders were rigged. The new Skoda Kodiaqs were supposed to get Whelen but apparently the manufacturer/ converter of the vehicle changed that in the last moment.
@@Rummeltobi OK OK. I'm really looking forward to the new Kodiaqs with front frames for the PIT maneuver. And I am even more pleased that we are the only ones in Europe who have these frames on police cars, which are structurally adapted to the PIT maneuver. When these Kodiaqs are made, we will get even closer to US standards and other countries in Europe may be envious.
