I went back and played this game recently. Even though there is no one in my country still playing and the only servers I could get on had me playing with 300 ping I still enjoyed playing just as much as I did when I was younger. Just an awesome game.
Allegedly Activision are releasing all the 2009 maps as an update to mw2 (next gen) since there is no COD release this year 🙏 Its the only reason I bought the newest game tbh.
That's awesome! I'm so so sad my ps3 broke :( but watching this little playback of the campaign had me just as tense as my first time :)) such a dramatic but cool story, and my God the missions make Michael Bay flicks look like child's play.
This game truly had the most epic missions of any CoD campaign.

0:28 The recruits your showing how to use rifles are actually Afghan Army or ANA. You can tell by their uniforms and helmets. ANA troops were notoriously incompetent so showing them how to do basic drills is actually pretty realistic and an amazing detail for a game from 2009.

Thinking about this game literally sometimes makes me emotional. I just remember hearing there was a snow day at school, so I’d set my alarm at 6 am and play this game for literally the entire day. All the “UAV” private lobbies. The maps. The guns. The camos. Man cod fell off so hard
I don't why but the wait for each video always feels more like 2 months long instead of around 2 weeks

I’ve survived multiple plane crashes. 50 were in Los Santos, a few happened out in the ocean, and the majority happened in Blaine County. Those were crazy experiences but all were caused by either skyscrapers being in the way of one of the wings, terrorist pilots, or ill advised accidental use of the Y button.
