The GX on the other hand, is proven to be almost unbreakable. Im on my 4th GX in 3 yrs..i keep trading them for newer/lower mileage

I seen a Lexus LS as a cab just a couple days ago. They aren't luxurious at all, they are just common good cars. I have also seen the equivalent of this Lexus GX, a Toyota Land Cruiser, as police cars on the beach here.

The only real similarity between the GX and 4Runner is the assembly line ( Tahara factory, Japan ) The GX is labelled and sold as the Land Cruiser Prado ( or LC 150 series ) outside of US, and without a V8 (V6 and diesel options) The LX 570 (now sold as the LX 600) is the bigger LC (series 200 and 300 respectively)
You guys get the nice interior. The Prado interior is ass and looks 15 years older than this...but the Prado is a lot cheaper. Just under $39,000 for the highest spec 7 Seater ver.

In fact, very rarely see a Lexus SUV on the road these days, and I see many of the above. About 95% of SUV’s never see off road duty anyway. The Lexus GX is an outstanding SUV, but for the price I doubt anyone would use it for serious off road duty.

There’s no comparison to Lexus naturally aspirated V8 to the new GX with forced induction (turbo) V6. Reliability wise, I chose the naturally aspirated GX V8 that will last forever ( built like a Tank)

The new GX has the same 3.5 V6 turbo engine which is the same one that the LX 600 and the Sequoia has.
The redesign is a twin turbo 4 cylinder engine which will be overworked and trashed by those turbos. Turbos shorten the life of everything
