Exactly. Whether it's an HDD or SSD, they WILL fail/die simply just to wear and tear.
Just buy a brand new HDD or SSD and backup your MOST IMPORTANT datas to any Cloud Servers. HDD and SSD prices are getting cheaper anyway. And with the advancements being made in both HDD and SSD tech, they can last for a very long time - unless you do something stupid like bad HDD or SSD care for example.

@@AbdulRehman-db9pu I always carry a flash drive / USB stick that has an essential software to check on the actual storage drive health called Crystal Disk Info.
Before buying a second-hand SSD or HDD, I always run a scan to check its health. That way I only have to pay the technician the installation service fee instead of both the service and storage drive prices. That is for checking its "internal software" health.
For physical, the standard procedure usually. You know, like checking or looking for any signs of physical damages such as scratches, dents, bent pins, and so on.

1. Are you carrying a USB drive for your data as backup?
2. My Google drive become full near 87%. Now the interface of Google Drive shows me that you can buy 100 GB in 52 Rs. instead of 209 Rs.
But I am thinking that with the passage of time they will increase the prices of Google Drive storage.
So here what I should to do I should buy a new HDD or buy the Google Drive storage?
3. If I buy a new HDD then which company is better? Seagate / WD / Toshiba?

yes it does provided the drive is not in use, as in not the default windows drive if am not rwong, else you will get an error that the drive is currently in use
