Thanks for posting, I'd completely forgotten that I needed to clip the legs together. So satisfying when it's back in its bag :)

Nice. I always buy a tent with capacity for one more person than I anticipate actually using it so gear and personal space are accommodated.

I got one of this, but only use for whole day beach or park activities. it's nice to have when you have small kids they can use as their napping area. Hard for me to do figure 8 in here, I tried doing it but for me it is not safe since they don't lock and could get it loose and hit you by those white poles. For me the easiest way is to just put them in half like what the video shows, so instead of doing the figure 8, I just grab each pole ends and just do a spiral twist.

Neither this video, nor the one on survivalhax.com shows the problem of the nylon "feet" coming away from the fiberglass poles (and stabbing you with the raw ends of the poles) during the folding away of those poles - that required the use of cyano superglue and accelerator! Having secured the feet to the ends of the poles, you can then find that having made 2 circles out of the 2 poles, the interlocking feet pop apart under pressure - that required a couple of lengths of paracord to hold the 2 "feet" together (male into female)...... Then it was a doddle to turn the 2 circles into 2 figures of 8 - Simples! ;-) ... SAFETY TIP - replace 4 of those silly little "ground pegs" with 4 decent ones for the 4 guy lines!
