  • This is a quick video on me changing out a water pump on a Nissan Sentra1.8. My phone died So I was not able to get installation it installation but it is very similar to removal if you can remove it you should be able to install it.     Good tutorial but my retentioner back nut head stripped the one allows to raise up the steering pump to get the belt off.. What can i do bro.. Thanx

      On min 552 bolt got stripped the one u were talking about...

      I apologize to you I have been very busy and wasn't able to answer your comment. What I would have suggested doing if you haven't got it resolved yet is to head to your nearest junkyard and pull that part for replacement let me know how you resolved it if you want to different route and thank you again hope the video was helpful except for the part that you got that you got snagged on thank you again and hope you got it resolved

    Would the pump leak pretty much instantly after starting the car or would it need to be driven to detect leaks?

      It can be both it depends on how bad the pump is and the state of the gasket. The best way to detect a leak is to pressure test the cooling system. Hope this was helpful don't forget to subscribe thank you have a blessed day
