This is why I like this channel you fish for everything not just Bass etc.
While I will admit bass fishing is my favorite, we are multi species anglers at our core! Glad you enjoyed this video! Thanks!!
I love trout fishing in the White River
I absolutely LOVE Trout fishing on the White. It is good fishing almost anywhere you go. My favorite place is where the Norfork enters the White. Great day fishing and I know you had tons of fun!!!!
Yeah it’s a great place to be! That section at Norfork is awesome too! Thanks for the support!
Gorgeous fish!! The coloration of those Brownies and your last Rainbow was incredible. How nice to have areas set aside, where barbless hooks are required, which give the fish a much better chance to grow to become true trophies. Awesome!!
We caught some stunning fish this trip! Hoping to get back out there and on them again soon!
The trout fishing capitol of the world is New Zealand.
Really gotta go !!!!!!!!!!
How are the family doing..Please get fishing 🎣 🤔 😕 🙄 😄
Try the white river

They’re hard to beat!!!
I hit a big thumbs up 👍🏻 for you Cole
Thank you!!!
You should go above the Dam some time and get some 15 inch Crappies ! lol , I figured out where you were. I would love to fish that whole area ! That lake actually has yellow perch which are kinda rare in AR but great eating !
Yeah! That lake is amazing and I have still yet to catch a yellow perch. Definitely high on my bucket list!
Whoa! That...looked....FUN!!
Trout fishing out there is always a good time! Thanks!!
Changing it up aye! That's the beauty of Arkansas. We have it all.. The largemouth should be moving up before long. Can't wait
I’m ready to do some heavy duty largemouth fishing!
@@COLE_and_JAY me too. Won't be long
You need to take Jay there to fish….she’d have a blast. I wonder how many crappie she’d find?……lol. Sorry we’d have to forgo the clean and cook portion of the video! But it is the Cole and Jay show!
I’ll never understand why it’s always the good people scammers try to fool. Cole, you and Jay still have them…..Hope Jay is feeling ok. Does she still have pregnancy sickness? You two are so Blessed! And we, your viewers see it!
We’ve been trying to keep the scammers at bay! Glad you’re not falling for them. Jay has been feeling pretty good! Not sick but a little sore and her energy isn’t as high, but we have plans to get after them this week!
@@COLE_and_JAY …..please let her know we are thinking about her. I’m sure a few slabs will make her feel better, but would love to see her, when she is able, hook into some of those trout….I was gonna say it would put a smile on her face, but who we kidding……she smiles every time she catches something……except drum…..lol
Nice freaking trout!
Thanks!!!! It was a great time out there!
Beautiful
cool cool
Love trout fishing. Where are the fly rods?
At home haha we’ll probably busy them out next time!
I'm here y'all let's goooooooo
Yeeeyeeeeee!!!
Definitely some quality trout y'all pulled out of there. Did you pull many smaller trout out of there that you didn't film and show in this video? Definitely impressed to see the size of trout y'all were catching instead of the average 10-13" hatchery trout of the norm. To me the missing pectoral fin is a sign of a hatchery raised fish. Not sure if it's because of how there hatched and raised or if someone clips em off at some point. Anyone have any knowledge of why or how this happens? Where I grew up fishing for trout in the Midwest, there was only one stream in the state that the trout could naturally spawn on there own in the wild. Mostly being Brownie's. So any other area's in the state are all stocked hatchery fish that are released at some point. Mostly in the winter and either are caught before it gets to warm or die off in the warmer months because of the shallow water that becomes to warm to survive and are restocked every year. Now I live in a state known for it's trout and taste so much than the hatchery trout and the water is so cold that the meat is so pinkish orange that it looks like Salmon fillets. That I actually enjoy eating pan fried, deep fried, or baked instead of brining and smoking those hatchery fish. Which is the only way I enjoy Hatchery raised trout. I also prefer eating Rainbow's over Brown's as the Brownies always taste pretty fishy to me. I've yet to try a Brown Trout here where I now live to see if they taste better than the Midwest Brownies that I've tried! Awesome video of a day on the water Cole, looking forward to the next outing!
Oh yeah, we caught a lot of fish that didn’t make it on camera we caught probably 75 fish! It was an awesome time, caught a bunch of the hatchery looking smaller rainbows. Thanks so much for watching!!
Awesome video. What brand of boat are you fishing out of?
That first rainbow you literally wore his butt out..Great job guys!!
Yeah I felt bad for that one lol 😂
Hey Cole amazing trip was that rod Dave was using a Leylands TCB Rod?
Get them!!!
Hi. I just caught a 2 pound bass on a crappie jig where we normally fish
That’s legit!!!! The crappie still biting good??
I caught 7 in about 45 minutes
It is not to bad
Absolutely great video. I've never got to trout fish. How do I get the guides information. God bless you guys
I have the sore lip’em all guide service info linked in the description of this video!
@@COLE_and_JAY thanks
Jay Jay would have killed to go with you Cole. Just make sure she can go next time.
We will get her on some trout waters soon! She wasn’t able to make it this trip. It was kind of short notice
We love the videos. How is J doing with the new pregnancy? We miss the videos of Cypress and J. What about Grannie, and the puppies? Just checking in
Glad you’re enjoying them! Jay and I are going out tomorrow to film a video while Cy is with his grandma! Granny has been good, it’s just been too cold for her to want to go fishing recently. Hoping to drag her out on the water soon!
Right below the dam Bull Shoals I think that's the coldest water I've felt my life we were wading
It’s definitely not warm lol 😂 thanks for the support!
Beautiful out there 🌄☕👍
I’d be with fly rod, bass rod for throwing big bugs!!!
Will definitely be doing that sometime!
Arkansas trout capitol of america
Nah, Michigan. Read Hemingway; it's all about the Au Sable, the Big Two-Hearted and the Manistee with waders, dry flies and 2# tippets.
I like 4lb line until the trout make me drop down to 2 lol
I’ve never fished for trout. When you use the trout magnet over a bobber, do you just jig it occasionally?
You mainly just let it drift in the current and mend your line! Occasional twitches are never a bad thing though
THEM BE SOME NICE SIZE FISH
Got on some good quality this day! There are some giants that live there!
This video was like fishing in a swimming pool ! I sure hope rhat one fish finds a doctor fast ? l o l
As a White River guide, I approve this video. Look me up and I'll take you to the Spring.
Glad you enjoyed this episode. I love the Spring, I lived in NEA for 7 years and fished there at least once a week haha. Always down to go!
Why don't you keep them? Trout is the cleanest tasting fish of them all, in my opinion. Great video.
I should have waited to the end to ask, and I would have had the answer to my question.
Love to eat trout, but we were fishing a catch and release area only today looking for the big fish!
@@COLE_and_JAY Sorry. I should have waited until the end of the video, and I would have had my answer. My apologies.
looks like some of those trout have been trying to swim up the turbines
Yeah some of them looked like they had a lot of miles on their fins haha
@@COLE_and_JAY thanks for being professionals when it counts.
What river were you on?
Mighty White!
Why you didn't keep some trout to take home
We were fishing a catch and release zone of the river trying to get on some bigger than average fish! Thanks!!
You left or right handed
he had a hook tryig to pass could of doctored
10lb braided line to catch a 3lb rainbow!???
Oregonians are laughing out loud!
The braid is to help with casting distance. It also floats which is helpful when drifting and mending your line and the lack of stretch helps ensure great hookup ratios. The leader line is still 2-4lb test. I’ll take this set up to Oregon too 😂
Looks like bull shoals
Should have kept some of them for dinner an put on some " slap yo mama" on it
Love to eat trout, but we were fishing in a catch and release only area trying to catch some big ones!
I guess they're not real good to eat, huh? I think Trump's one of my favorite, right? Cracky
Trout are delicious but this is a catch and release zone on the river
@@COLE_and_JAY that was supposed to be trout not Trump say hello to Blondie I just couldn't help myself. My mouth with watering I've never been able to catch any trout. I couldn't even catch a trailer truck arm. We don't have a trout where I grew up and that's all I got to say about that. Y'all have a good evening. Give Blondie a back rub. She can probably use one by now. He's about halfway I think. Isn't she? That's all goodbye
Don't understand why you didn't keep the big one's
This is a catch and release zone. I normally release big trout anyways and keep smaller ones haha
Well that sucks nice fish though
