    When I was younger and had a big huge 200 gallon fish tank it was kept outside on our patio. And when I caught small fish I’d put them in the tank I had at least two of each bluegill, bass and a couple of crawfish. It was fun for everyone to watch.

    The trout looks wonderful ! How do you think it would be to marinate them, scored, in a bag of the secret sauce for 30min in the fridge before putting on the grill? You could still baste them too and even stick a slice of orange/lemon inside ... I"m all about flavor town!

      Yep I thought that was possible too..I remember when the older folks called the bowfins..grinnel,mudfish and cypress trout. ...and seeing them come up to breathe in the sloughs an backwaters by the dozens at a time...they would definitely wreck a light troutline for cats when they got on one

    New PB, I limited out 2 days at JFK. We cooked the first limit and my 16 yo was eating it as fast as I was cooking it. I'm retired now and I'm going to try fishing and camping more often.

      They live in Central Arkansas. They are probably fishing in one of our North Central Arkansas Rivers with trout
