Honestly Bing Bong’s death makes me cry the hardest because it’s not just a lovable character dying, but him fading from Riley’s memory symbolizes her growing up and completely losing that child part in her, something we all go through at one point. It symbolized our childhood innocence being let go to make room for more personal growth. The fact that he says “take her to the moon for me” makes it even deeper because it makes you think about all your little childish dreams you let go of as well. It wasn’t just the death of a character, it was the death of childhood itself and stood for the phase we go through. That whole movie is so deep and beautiful and so so nostalgic. I’ll never relate to any character death as much as that one because it just really hits me in the feels to look back and realize exactly when you left that behind without realizing.
"Take Riley to the moon for me, okay?"
It brought me to tears. ;-;
I have watched that movie 5 times and I still cry with my mom every time bing bong dies
Same here
He really wanted to take her to the moon
Every parent sobbed in the theater when I saw Inside Out
“Take her to the moon for me” even people without a soul would start crying at those last words..
Benita Seiffert i didnt cry 😕
Benita Seiffert Ummm I didn’t cry oh no This says a lot about me
Dumb Blonde sameee
Didn’t so I don’t have a soul
i literally never even felt a connection, not even a spark, when those words were spoken
it’s probably because the movie is cringeworthy and should’ve been better.
When I first saw the princess and the frog I cried so hard when Ray got stepped on
Well when ray got stepped I screamed: NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO
ll_Extremely stressed_ll my aunt, in her 50s at the time, gasped and burst into tears when we saw it in theaters.
ll_Extremely stressed_ll Ray was a character that was just so easy to love
I was 6 when I saw the film in theatres. I closed my eyes for most of Ray's death because it just seemed too sad for me. I didn't cry, but 10 years later, that scene still not only pulls on my heartstrings, but straight-up yanks them.
When he was holding Evangeline's hand in the sky though it made me happy again lol
*"WE'LL NAME ONE NEMO BUT I'D LIKE MOST OF THEM TO BE MARLIN Jr.!"*
STOP GIVING ME FEELS!!!
@@sorahashiro6687 STOP GIVING FEELS GODDAMMIT (I shouldn't be saying that granted I'm 9 yrs old) but still
Someone actually remembered brother bear? I don't what made me cry more, reliving the scene or the fact someone remembered it existed!
ginger psycho right! My fav Disney movie ever
I love Brother Bear and I think it's the most unappreciated film out there to be honest
My favorite disney movie. Make me cry everytime i watch it
Brother Bear fans unite!
Poison Rationality I love it too, though it's not my favorite. That title belongs to The Lion King, if you exclude Pixar.
When you realise Up is a PG movie but it starts with *death*
Up betrayed us...in 11 minutes
@@thelocalcrusader9522 your comment is 11 mins ago
When you realize UP is one of the only disney movie with death in it.
Who said death is inappropiate? Kids knowing death is really important.
Cwcoc withrow there are so many what are u talking ab 😂
Sad deaths “oh I wanna see this”
5 mins later:”WHY WHYYYYY” *crying in corner*
*IM STILL STANDING BOOOAAAAHH*

Disney: let's make a movie about the characters mother in the first 5 minutes dies
Exactly
Bing bong’s death is just so sad to me Idk why....
“Take her to the moon for me... ok...?”
I cry every time :(
I Agree; PooR Bing Bong! The Way He Looks Up At His Friend, the Expression In His Face; in His Eyes aS He Slowly Disappears!😣😰😭
When simba. crawls under mufasas paw and try’s to wake him I always cry 😭😭😭😭😭😭
Edit: omg wow I didn’t realize that I got so many likes thank you but the live action death got me more than the animation 😭
When simba tries to wake mufasa up and the music in the background.
That makes it all the more satisfying when Simba punches back at Scar, declaring him a “MURDERER!!!”
Peyton’s YT life the song he lives in you always makes me sob
I didn’t cry :/
@GilWojtek2016-Tails it's a movie
For Mufasa’s death it’s the music that makes it really sad.😭
Medina Khaliqi that’s so true
that's what i was thinking too!
That's the point of the music.
I started crying when Zimba tried to wake him up. After I tried to tell my mom what happend and I started crying more.😭😭
That wasn’t even sad
I feel like Tadashi's death was the most emotional because of how close Hiro was to him.
Rest in Peace, Tadashi Hamada...
Tadashi is here.
I always get sad every time I see the scene but those last words from Tadashi will always have a true meaning, "Someone has to help"
I agree and the way when Tadashi ran into the building and Hiro tried to stop him and the building exploding and Hiro shouting Tadashi gets me every time
Me: what??? What could be possibly sadder then mufasa’s death scene????
..... you bastards...i forgot about the opening for up 😭🤧🤧🤧
Mufasa though 😢😭
yea he does. they build a new one tho but not the same one.
Scarlett Hutchison His death was one of the most hardest things I had to watch as a 5 year old. Man, I cried like I actually lost somebody.
Bambi's mother should be number one, and Ellie should be much further down. See my original comment.
Neh-Bih Sangbong its was actually simba reaction that got to me.
Gets me every time
Man I hate scar I'm glad he was a rug in Hercules
That actually made me laugh good job
@@Jacob87439 its the truth
Actually, Scar is the greatest Disney villain of all time in my opinion
Autumn Hungrige, omg you noticed that too?
Layla A that backstory's just fan fiction. he was never taka. it was just from those six new adventure books written by fan authors & disney only published 4 a cash grab. they're not canon & disney never said he was taka
Out of all the deaths that impacted me on this list, Mufasa's death broke me the most. Not only because he died, it was because he reminded me of my Grandpa, who always gave me life lessons. He had fun with his family and always went on adventures. Sadly, he died on 2017. And watching The Lion King on theatres one year after made me tear up because Mufasa reminded me of the man i once followed
😔😔😔😔
I’m still recovering from Mufasa’s death in 2019 and now I’ll have to see him die again 😭😭😭
I know 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 rip mufasa 1999 - 2019
Aqsa Tahir it wasn’t really that sad in the remake, it felt more like a rushed action scene than a sad scene. The 1994 version still reigns supreme.
Ultron-5 Even though I loved the remake, I have to say, you have my respect, because you gave actual constructive criticism of the scene, instead of those sick bastards who thought the scene was funny.
@@thomashuffman3237 Same here (well I didn't really like the remake but didn't dislike it either, it was more of an "eh" but Mufasa's death was still sad for me tbh)
The montage of Ellie and Carl was beautiful, and yet sad. Telling the story of their life without any dialogue.
Yeah it really beautiful
I literally got chills just hearing 1 second of Up’s music
OFG_BeastBoy I cried harder when she had a miscarriage
Same here i was like...OH NO NO NO NOOOOO
UP IS SO SAD WEN THE WIFE DIES I EVERY TIME I CRY
Same. The first two seconds had me crying.
We played this movie clip in our music class to demonstrate how the music can greatly affect a setting, and not a single person left that classroom stone-faced.
Bing Bong made me cry in theaters.
“Take her to the moon for me, OK?”
R.I.P. Bing Bong
~2007-2015~
Bobby Daniel who's your friend And l likes to play?
Bing bing! Bing bing!
*2007-2015
I was 12 years old when I saw the film in theatres and memories of my childhood imaginary friends just came flooding back in my mind after that scene, which almost brought me to tears
He didn’t even live to be 10!
It makes me sad how we have to grow up😭😭
Uh...Inside out came out in 2015
The grandma in moana tears me up in many many pieces... it just reminds me my granny is getting really old, and it’s like a punch right in the stomach...
I predicted the sad death of grandma tala because I saw the scene in the trailer
Ray's honestly the only character whose death I cried at while it was happening
I dont know why but i laughed when he died
Same here 😢
As a child I always thought Mufasa's death was the saddest part of any movie I had watched. But now that I'm older I find that Ellie and Bing Bong's deaths are the ones that affect me the most. Well deserved no.1 spot though, I can't watch that Up scene without crying every single time.
Saaaaaammmmmme
Same, ellie because the beauty the life she had and maybe a life i wish id had with a patner so early on in my life to keep me company the rest of my life.
bingbong for the innocence in the life most can remember but have lost.
Whenever I saw Mufasa dying, i never verified that he's dead
I'm not joking when I watch inside out I cry for ever when bing bong dies 😭
The exact same
There's great purpose in Carl and Ellie's montage. It makes clear WHY Carl is a "grumpy old man". He's heartbroken and spending the end of his life without the love of his life. The house is all he has to hold onto. Him finding a way to travel is a way of honoring her and bringing life back to him. It gives him humanity and understanding.
Ray was the only one that hit me hard.
Me too
Man doctor facilo more like doctor stupid
Mufasa
@@meryrojas7270 atleast he suffered his own death for everything he did even hurting Ray
Yess same here its the only disney death that makes me cry
Tadashi’s death absolutely killed me.
Ellie's killed me ;(
Mufasa's death absolutely Killed me

PuppyLove Tadashi’s death also killed Tadashi
The lion king made me cry harder as an adult than it ever did as a kid. Because I remember what it was like to lose my own father

Shelly Huro ur so sweet! I luv u for that kindess in your heart, may God bless you
I'm very sorry for you're loss. We've all lost someone in our lives.( Like my grandfather who practically raised me & was like a father to me)
Garrett Kehoe-Plourde Some people are lucky enough to not have lost anyone yet. I personally have lost a few pets, my great grandmother (who I was very close to) and my great aunty.
Oh, I'm so sorry
I’ve seen The Lion King to many times.. Mufasa’s death is still sad...
Bambi was the saddest

Both tadasih and bing bong death I was not even expected neither of them to sacrifice themselves
Mufasa’s death will forever be the most heart-wrenching, horrifying & shocking deaths in the history of Disney!
Alessia Diana that is soo true
Yeah
I seen the lion king yesterday and I get so much
Ivor Mccarthy I saw the lion king too yesterday and my heart dropped
Yes. Having a sibilng kill the others is GRUSOME
I hated when Tadashi died, he was my favorite character 😭😭😭😭
Same here T^T
Same
And Callaghan didn't die for real
8:00 ''we'll always be together, right?'' 8:25 so much for always being together.
Just hearing the name Tadashi Hamada makes me tear up. Also WHY IS BROTHER BEAR SO UNDERRATED?! I think Brother bear is such a beautiful movie!
RIP Sitka(in movie),and RIP Denahi(in real life)!
Mufasa, Ray, Ellie and Bing Bong should've been tied at number 1
We're about to witness Mufasa's death in HD. I've already scheduled a meeting with my therapist for the day after.
TeamS 🥺😭
To be honest his deat was still sad but the scene felt pretty rushed
His death was shit
TeamS I know right
I saw the live action lion king and it feels more like a action scene than a sad scene
I cry every time I see Mufasa's death, and then Simba's heart broken... 😭😭😭 It breaks my heart too...
When Tadashi died i cried, he was sooo cute man..everytime i watch Big Hero 6 tht scene and when Baymax dies gets me
But Baymax didn't die
@@maniacaal It felt like it
Same same my friends call me crazy when I cry from that sean
I like tadashi I have a crush on him......
My dog Tadashi died last month 👍😟
Mufasa should be be 1, Ellie's death was pretty sad but at least she died peacefully in her old age with her husband by her side, Mufasa was brutally killed by his brother at the prime of his health and got trampled by hundreds of wildebeest. What can be sadder than that?
JM CG And also the last thing Mufasa heard was his own son screaming.
And little Simba watched his father die but couldn't completely comprehend it at first.
Agree. I also think in Dumbo where he was separated from his mom was sad. But that wasn't a death lol.
Mufasa was always meh for me
It would of been way too obvious if it was Mufasa. I was kind of glad it wasn’t number 1.
I'm nearly 32 and I still cry my eyes out at Mufasa's death 😭😭 Bambi's mum getting shot pretty much scarred me for life too 💔
I'd swap 2 and 1. Mufasa's death is so much more resonating due to how they build him up with time and pacing. He's the perfect father figure: A bold leader, scolding teacher when necessary, but always warm at his core. That's why it hurts so much when he's gone.
Ray gets me everytime 😭
•. Rose .• yeah why
I cry
Oh man, my tears were like a waterfall!
Same
Me too
My top 3
1. Mufasa
2. Tadashi
3. Bambi's Mom
Elon would be laughing at bambi's mom
When Bambi came out I was like 5 and I couldn’t watch the movie because I was so sad about the mom
Not Tadashi but the other 2 yes
Tadashi isn't dead...
What about Ray ToT
5:53 Oh the bing bong one really got me 😭😭 all he wanted was to be with Riley again but then he was lost forever oh child Hood things come to an end😭😭
A touching story about obselete perishing nowhere
“There is nowhere you could go that I wouldn’t be with you” 💔
*sees Tadashi's death* 😰 *sees Bing Bong's death right after* 😭😭😭
Why does someone always have to die in a Disney film☹️KEEP SOMEONE ALIVE DISNEY
Jasmine Calwell. Sometimes, the sad deaths are what make Disney movies so endearing.
Smashster 1 that maybe true but that doesn't mean they could use character deaths as a cliche.
except the villain.... if everyone but the villain lives in a Disney movie, its a mercyful Disney movie.
It’s because Disney parents died
Jasmine Calwell Then watch the Toy Story movies. No one dies in those.
I'm 22, and I still bawl when Mufasa dies in the movie.
2 years later and it is still heartbreaking.... R.I.P to every single character that made my childhood better even if it was half the movie....
I literally cried 5 different times so thx for that
VEGETARIAN BIATCH me toooo
Same here :(
i think i cried more than 5 times lmao

What's even worse is that his so-called mentor doesn't even CARE he died.
Charlotte death in "charlotte web"
That’s not a Disney movie
Ray's death always makes me cry. Like if you cried too. :(

Sad
Bryan Anderson wow
Don’t you ever disrespect my buddy bingbong again you uncultured swine.
Han Solo getting killed 😣
How did Mufasa's scene only make the #2 spot? That was the saddest scene ever, especially when you consider that it practically traumatized so many young people. I don't think there's a single person today who has seen the Lion King when it first came out that doesn't remember that horrific scene
Even to this day Mufassa’s death was the most heartbreaking I still cry watching it Xx 😢
Mufasa’s death kills me every time 😢.
was it the memes that followed?
How sad will it be in Favraeu's adaption?
Olle Selin it will be interesting to see.
Is he even that good?
After losing my own father tragically, the lion king makes me cry even harder than when I was a kid
Mama Coco's death was pretty sad too..
Her's was more bittersweet
It was sad to see her go but she remembered her father and finally got to see him again after so many years
Omg.. i was crying so many times when this scene began..
TWD Clementine How do you know? -You’re suppose to be in the apocalypse-

Jan Raymond Custodio yea that made me cry =(
The first one got me... brother bear is such a good movie and tadashi ahhh hell no...
Even if they’re animated movies, we still can’t help but cry.
The bit where simba trying to wake his dad actually kills me

Tala's death always brings me to tears, she reminds me so much of my grandma, who passed away over a year ago. I always have to try hard to not break down sobbing when that scene comes.
I think the saddest is the lion king it’s really sad because we saw him die and we saw the relationship that he had with simba
I can tell you the saddest part of Mufasa‘s death is when Simba tries to wake him up and realises he can’t
TheKatherineWheel - agreed!!
Rayyyyy😩
Jasmine Calwell Ray is my middle name.
David Ray cool
Glad he has died, he was just plain ugly and stupid.
Also would've been cool if Olaf died.
Rip Ray
When he dies , i literly cry for basicly the rest of the movie. I ♡ ray
No one is talking abt tadashi ?
He was a good bro :(
Brother bear is, to this day, one of my absolute favorite movies. Sidka’s death made me cry so much, and when we find out that Kenai killed Koda’s mom, and when Denahi tries to kill kenai, no knowing it’s his brother, like seeing how sad and heart broken he’s been. Brother bear was so amazing

Oh, man, Scar scared the s*** out of me when i was a kid
I disagree up was so freaking sad
Risky. Well everyone is affected differently, and the age at which you watched each movie matters. I, for example, I watched the lion king at 6. While I watched UP at 12. So what happens in childhood has a deeper effect on you
@@titaniumcoyote I agree and the reason I think UP is the saddest for me is because I ADOR Pixar so much and I actually watched UP before The Lion King. But I Also think its very sad. Thanks!

10 -I love Brother Bear. Sitka’s demise made me cry on the inside
9 -That shook me to the core when I was little
8 -I cried a little but it was sweet to see her again
7 -When I was a kid, I was horrified and heartbroken

1 -I can see why this tops number one. Ever since 2009, it was the talked about tragic scene of them all. Only thing is, I cried on the inside when my heart slowly broke
What made me cry during Mufasa's death was Mufasa screaming as he falls and Simba helplessly watching his father fall, while screaming "NOOOOOO!!!!"
I think the saddest death was when the mom died in the land before time.

It was, but the land before time wasn't a Disney production
Who watched that a million times when they were in 2nd grade 😂

But The Land Before Time isn’t Disney.

Mufasa's Death Is Definitly The Saddest
Why Is It Only Number 2!?
Mufasa should be number 1!
mufasa's death always gets me
Totally agreed
Have... have you never watched Up??? They spent their whole lives together, went through all the ups and downs... and when he was finally going to give her the dream shes been planning on since childhood.... she gets ripped away from him

I cried so much during Mufasa’s, Tadashi’s and Ray’s death
Same for me
3 death's? heck i cried in all of them
Whyyyy Tadashiiiii😨😭
i deserve a medal i went the entire video whitout crying
Mufasa's death is still so depressing to me since Simba tries to wake him up like he usually does in the morning.
