Mulan 2 with some plot points but at least some of the cast returned! And Ming Na is awesome!
Yes, they were so adorable!
+Madi Bendy Ming Na didn't voice Mulan in the second one. Lea Solanga (who was Mulan's singing voice in the first movie) did Mulan's voice in the sequel.
No. Lea Solanga was still the singing voice but Ming-Na did return to do the regular voice. I actually watched the sequel a while ago and she was in a documentary for it.
HEY.
KRONK'S NEW GROOVE WAS AWESOME.
So was Pooh's Grand Adventure. What the hell, Mojo?
IKR!!!
I loved Kronk's New Groove.
+Salix Sepulcralis finally someone gets it 0 percent Rotten Tomatoes are a bunch of fuckers
it would've made more sense to put Atlantis 2 on that list instead of Kronk's new groove

I wish I could unwatch Pocahontas 2, it was so disappointing. My sister and I cried after watching it because it ruined everything.
:’(
I never finished it thankfully I saved myself grace and shoved it into the back of my mind.
That movie sucks balls
Ruined my childhood
Im sorry for your pain, thank you for warning me and saving me from pain
I will pretend pocahontas 2 did not happen
I forever ship Pocahontas and John Smith
I refuse to even believe that movie exists.
I actually really liked Pocahontas 2 as a kid. It's kinda loyal to the history of the real Pocahontas as she did end up moving to England. But yeah, I really miss her with John Smith
I'm just gonna pretend that Mulan 2, The Hunchback of Notre Dame 2, Beauty and the Beast: Belle's Magical World, and Tarzan 2 doesn't exist!
mariale duque ,,,i mean
Pocahontas was a mistake ok
cheers to Ariel for being the first princess to be a mother 🖐🏻💕
Yes! And I wish that Melody was in Disney Descendants!
Noya Kastro really I thought she was one of her sisters wow I’m in awe never thought she was a mother but gosh that kid annoyed me!!(not being rude)
So?
I think she the only one ?
@ThiefRikku0306 lol
“I am the ghost of John Smith, run for your lives”
Pocahontas should’ve been #1 on this list. That movie truly sucked
I’m just relieved it made this list.
I don't even acknowledge its existence for how awful it is
Kim Smith the first movie is great, one of my favorite Disney movies because of how it shows the beauty of Native American culture. But the sequel is just so so bad
It was awesome
The part where they said "Savages, Savages, barely even human," was so dark....
excuse me The Little Mermaid 2 return to the Sea is so good so don't you dare talk about Ariel's offspring
I love your profile picture😍

As a kid, yes. As an adult, I see that Ariel’s daughter is a selfish brat.
Pardon ME but "Kronks New Groove" was a MASTERPIECE
I'm so hurt by this
Abigail, I so agree with you. Kronk's New Groove has become one of my favourite movies. It had so much going for it, especially the Eartha Kitt character which was so compelling and entertaining. I think it's just as important to have an interesting and sympathetic antagonist as it is to have an interesting more heroic character because an antagonist/villain who's one-dimensional and all bad lowers the tone of the project. The best stories have all main characters as fascinating and likeable even if they oppose the protagonist in an immature or unaware way.
i COMPLETELY agree!
I agree
Abigail Cunningham FREAKING AGREE.
I loved that Anastasia fell in love with the baker! It started the idea that Anastasia wasn’t totally a bad character. She grows to have redeeming qualities and becomes a better person.
Drusilla on the other hand... there was a reason why she was depicted the way she was in Once Upon a Time. She ended up being WORSE than her mother in that arc, and that’s saying a LOT!
Lol that part felt good cuz my name is Anastasia xD
I watched Once Upon a Time all the way up through its true final Season 7 as well.

Title: straight to DVD
Me: before 2005 movies were VHS
Hey, I liked The Little Mermaid II! Lots of people hate it because 'it's just the first movie in reverse' but isn't that the point? Ariel still chooses to become human and leave her family behind; Melody LEARNS from that mistake when given the same journey and chooses to unite both worlds while remaining with her family. What Ariel failed to learn, Melody did. And what makes it even more likable is that Melody didn't do it for love. Ariel chose to give up her entire WORLD for a man. Melody chose to go on her journey and then unite the worlds because of HERSELF.
Man, I loved that movie as a kid.
I loved Little Mermaid II as well!
Not really. Morgana was less powerful but she was smarter.
Ursula's plan relied mostly on her magic. Morgana was less powerful - having to use Ursula's magic to turn Melody into a mermaid as part of her plan - but that just means that most of her plan relied on her ability to charm Melody (Ursula didn't even try to be not-creepy) and create a plan to steal the trident that didn't evolve spells galore (like how Ursula relied on magic contracts and spells, an enchantment to disguise herself as Vanessa and bewitch Eric, etc.)
***** Yeah, she was making herself more 'approachable'. Even if she legitimately forgot that Melody doesn't eat that stuff, the way she was acting so 'hospitable' made her seem less like the evil hag she really was.

Did you just assume my gender?!
Growing up Pocahontas was my movie. I loved it. I got so excited about a sequel and was VERY disappointed in it. I actually wanted to cry, it was nothing like the original movie and was majorly disappointed with the fact she ends up with someone else.
I love the first one. it's one of my favorite movies. When I heard of the sequel, I didn't watch it till I was 13.
I love the first one. it's one of my favorite movies. When I heard of the sequel, I didn't watch it till I was 13.
Lexie LaPoint Same! 😂
The issue with Pocahontas ending up with Rolfe is the fact that in real life that's who she married. In real life Pocahontas was 12, and John Smith was 40, so the implications behind their paring in the first film were pedophilic.
Infact the second film was actually made in response to this criticism that Pocahontas's descendants were constantly bringing up with Disney. Fun fact, she has family that is still alive today that absolutely detest the first film soly because of the implied romance between her and Smith. The creation of the second film actually got them to leave Disney alone.
and personally I find John Rolfe to be a far more interesting character than John Smith.
^^
I am aware of the ages and history with the real people, however, in the movie that wasn't the case. I just feel it took away from the original movie when everything that happened in the first Pochahontas changed in the second movie. It was almost just a repeat with the only difference being a different country. Though I do understand and appreciate the history, I just don't think it flowed well with her second movie as things were still different in the first movie and they can't change that.
bro cinderella: a twist in time was swag

100% agree. Love Cinderella’s new song. Though why have still not given the prince a name!
It was amazing
Heck yeah that was such a great movie!
I agree!
Even though I never watched it lol but looks good 😆
Yep!!!
Ok I refuse to accept Kronk's New Groove as a bad movie, that movie is almost as good as the original
I refuse that too!!
Actually, more like the sequel is less adventurous than the original I think
Mulan II is actually a really good movie with a lot of good songs and a dramatic story line 🤷🏻♀️🤷🏻♀️
Yes! I agree
I agree, I actually loved seeing Ling, Chai Po (?) and Yo (?) get girls despite in reality it’d never work
Yes one of very few really good seqels!
I disagree! Seeing Anastasia get with the baker man was the cutest thing ever and gave me so much hope as a kid!!
Enigma Popstar I KNOW! I LOVED HOW SHE GOT LOVE IN THE END
Granted the idea of Cinderella having to learn how to be a ‘real’ princess was entertaining, but I remember Anastasia’s story the most because, to me, it felt more relatable and entertaining as you want to see her happy and be with someone who loves her for her; compared to how she and Drusilla were in the original movie, that’s probably the best upgrade you can do.
Personally, I always thought Pocahontas II was the worst.
If you prefer. I personally hate seeing a bad guy (or guyette) turning around. And she turns traitor in the next sequel and nobody thinks the worse of her for it. Sequels I find an unnecessary lot.
Enigma Popstar Yeah! This couple was the best thing of the movie!
yeahi loved it

I personally hated it,it completely changed the characters and everything and it ruined them severely. Kronk was decent

What about Pooh’s Grand Adventure, Ariel’s Beginning and Tarzan II?!
Kieran Stark never saw any of those
The fox and the hound 2 was a bad movie, but I guess you can call it entertaining?
Maria Dos Santos it’s just my opinion
@@spooktoonz Well, these are some of the choices I disagree with on this list. Check them out when you can.
What I love is that these movies aren’t canon and literally have no promo & is ignored by disney. Pretty sure this was just the interns side hustle in the early 2000’s
Um the Lion Guard follows Kiara and Kovu as king and queen. A lot of these sequels aren’t near as good as their originals, but still do a solid job. And then you got others that change course to completely destroy certain plot points of the original, looking at you Pocahontas 2 and Hunchback of Notre Dame 2. But yes the Home Videos were made by trainees before taking on bigger projects, that’s why the colors are faded/bled especially in Pocahontas 2 and especially some of the animation is cringy especially in Hunchback of Notre Dame 2.
I actually like Kronk´s new groove
And i love Jafar Revenge
Yeah me too
Agustina Kustner same
Mushrambo Kinniku I love it too
Yes, it's 100% fine (despite some weak innuendos.). And the finale where Yzma is *spoiler alert* an adorable kitten is hilarious.
Pocahontas 2 gets me upset, they build up this whole relationship w John Smith in the original, just make him look stupid in the 2nd one and for her to choose John Rolfe. I loved the movie as a kid though
Totally agreeeee!! I don't care about real-life stories when it comes to Disney... It's Disney... I just pretend the sequel doesn't exist. Pocahontas + John Smith = ❤️
hopelovestyler I was 10 when Pocahontas 2 came out. I was so happy but when I began watching it, I almost instantly knee something was wrong.
Bright Sparkle but Disney made the move based off the real event though :/
Adamasutojr AJR and Will N I know, but I'm not realistic and I love that Disney's not realistic at all.... Man, IT IS DISNEY :O
Disney changed history with the first one, so why not the second? If they were so intent on staying true to history, why make their relationship romantic to begin with?
2:03 Leroy and Stitch was absolutely necessary. It served as the finale for the series and gave experiment 625 a name. It also revealed the names of all the experiments in the credits. There's so much about the series that would have never been closed up had it not been for this movie.
Agreed. It’s also my favorite Lilo and Stitch movie.
Mulan: "I must risk my life to protect my father's and all of China."
Mulan 2: "There's a way to save China? Screw China! You get a husband! And you get a husband! And you get a husband!"
It should've been titled "The Mulan Winfrey Show"
Milan 2 is okay but the first Mulan is way better.
Plus Mulan has a good villain.
Villains make movies more interesting.
It wasn’t that bad. I mean honestly Ting Ting and Ling’s relationship is my favorite part in the entire movie
Mulan 3 might be: "Time to move to Taiwan, because Winnie the Pooh has taken over China and become a tyrant".
EXCUSE ME?!?! KRONKS NEW GROOVE IS A GREAT MOVIE!!!
Edit: okay guys you don’t have to reply if you don’t like it. It’s just my and others opinions. If your going to say “No it’s not!” Then just don’t reply to me.

I love Kronk. He deserved that sequel.
EXACTLY I WAS SO CONFUSED
I live in constant denial that "Hercules: Zero to Hero" and "Atlantis: Milo's Return" exist.
MILO DESERVED BETTER!!😭😭
Zero to hero? Movie or series?
Actually Milo’s Return was pretty decent, considering it was a deleted series. It would’ve been so awesome to see more about Atlantian culture and Queen Kida handling things
I like Aladdin and the King of the Thieves and Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas the best.
Lion King 2: Simba's Pride is my fave of all.
Honestly they had the best along with the Little Mermaid! The others are pretty good just not as amazing. Honestly why the hell didn’t Pocahontas 2 have the same magic used in these sequels?
Half this list: They did the same thing!
Other half of the list: Why change what worked the first time!
Very underrated comment
This mojo video exists for the same reason shitty disney dvd sequels no one ask for exist.

Exactly!!
these things arent mutually exlusive to eachother and can still be true at the same time
but honestly most of these movies are shit because of no memorable songs and shit animation
feels more like a chinese knockoff than anything
kinda sad how many people seem to have nostalgia for this trash
they could try actually talking about the problems with these movies: poorly animated, bad write-in songs, meaningless stories, and a lot of them having 0 heart.

Okay don't trash talk Anastasia and the Baker's romance because that was good shit.
Anastasia wasn't a Disney movie.
Russian princess Anastasia wasn't. I was talking about Cinderella's stepsister Anastasia. :P
Agreed! That was the one part of Cinderella 2 that I thought was good! I also liked how they did reference him in Cinderella 3.
that whole story was like the set up for Anastasia's character development.
It was so adorable seeing Cinderellie forgiving her and helping her with her happily ever after
..wow that Beauty and the Beast one kinda screams domestic abuse.
Well, the original wasn't too great. Belle basically develops Stockholm Syndrome and I'm like, 'So, he makes her his prisoner, forbids her to ever leave the castle, does not allow her to see her father, screams in her face, smashes various items around her and she falls in love with him?!'
Ray Diaz with extra hair on his body
@Bazil Well, to be fair she VOLUNTEERED to take her father's place and agreed to the terms, got given a MASTER SUITE despite her father having been kept in a cell, was mostly left alone, had only ONE place in the entire palace she wasn't allowed to go and she broke that rule anyway (which was the only reason the Beast got angry at the first place, and the ONLY time he really did anything remotely abusive) and need I mention that in the original this all happened in a single night, during which she escaped, nearly got killed by wolves, got saved by the Beast and then hauled his butt back to the castle and nursed him until morning, after which they begin to resolve their differences.
A. Single. Night. Vs all those weeks/months she CHOOSE to remain there for (note he never again reinforced her sentence during this time, so arguably she could have left sooner if she had only asked or done so sooner).
And the Beast hardly did all that much to her, and the few things he did do to her (90% was just yelling) was in response to her stubbornness which arguably rivals his own. For instance, in the "join me for dinner" scene she holds her own in an argument with him quite well once she has moved on from her initial distress, which is something a hapless victim with Stockholm Syndrome would not do (they would more likely acquiesce to their abuser's demands). She willingly put herself in her situation by trading places with her father, stubbornly refusing to eat, insisting she could stay in her room forever rather than eat with him and then going into the ONE forbidden area of the castle. So in short, she is certainly no hapless victim, let alone one with Stockholm Syndrome characteristics, since all throughout her BRIEF mistreatment she is assertive and independent and mostly does not take his crap. Stockholm Syndrome involves the victim defending the actions of their abuser, which Belle certainly does not (how can anyone forget the famous line "well, you should learn to control your temper"?) Yes she eventually forgives him, BUT only after he genuinely cleans up his act with her help.
If their relationship had shown signs of an abuse cycle, which almost all abusers tend to follow, then your case would be understandable. But since the original movie showed no more discord happening after that first night it is evident that there was no more significant abuse, that the Beast was not inherently abusive, just that he really did just need to learn to control himself better, which he did without further difficulty (keep in mind that he hadn't been around humans for at least 10 years and had only had objects as company so he had to reacquaint himself with his human side).
Kabbaway yes, yes, yes, and umm yessss
Well, duh, that's the entire point of Beauty and the Beast.
When I watched the Beauty and the beast sequel, I was literally all the time thinking "Is this gonna end, or not?"
The Fox and The Hound 2 was one of my childhood favourites! How can you say that mid-quels are pointless? They add depth and establish the story like Bambi 2 which i love.
As someone who didn’t watch a lot of Disney growing up, but I did own the Fox and the Hound, I seriously disagree. I don’t mind mid-quels, but they literally toned the serious and dark tone from the original, turning Chief and Amos from seasoned hunters to cranky old neighbors next door. The ending is where them and Widow and Todd are having a little get together, which is so puke worthy given Amos threatened to kill Todd as a kit several times if he ever saw Todd on his property again. Plus the whole “Copper’s nose is broke” is so ridiculous, given that’s how he met Todd.
The Ariel prequel was so good!!! It shouldn’t be in this list. I’ve seen it countless times and cried all those times
I agree, I loved all the Ariel movies!
SAME
@@charamcnuggers9534 i agree that movie not that good, it didn't add nothing at all just a ban on music and ariel's mother death is pretty stupid. The sisters are back which is good but they did not help ariel at all.

@@nicholasfactor they should use that use that instead of the ban of music.

How Disney could destroy so beautiful love of Pocahontas and John Smith in the sequel? I wish the Pocahontas 2 disappeared.
I agree this is the only sequel I completely hate. Only part I’m willing to watch is Where Do I Go, otherwise it deserves to burn in h*ll
I think the same thing with my top two favorite Disney movies--'The Little Mermaid' and 'Lady and the Tramp', mostly 'Lady and the Tramp'. 'Scamp's Adventure' was sure a lot of dog crap for me as a kid
@@kristinahuchison2511 Wow... you sound like my hate for 'Lady and the Tramp 2' 😲
@@reynarodriguez9742 well, let’s just say Pocahontas was always one of my favorites as a kid. Didn’t actually watch the sequel for a while, but when I did I stupidly thought they’d finally end up together. Oh course Pocahontas had to get the crappiest sequel that went above and beyond than any other sequel of destroying a character to force a plot point to work. Even Pocahontas imo was kinda a brat as I noticed she snapped at Rolfe in several scenes for no reason, when she was never that snarky. And oh course she ends up choosing the jerk who spent the majority of their relief trying to change her into who he wanted, choosing him over a man that never tried changing her and was fully prepared to die protecting her.
@@kristinahuchison2511 Whoa.. that's a lot of information you just said, especially because when you said Pocahontas yells at Rolfe like a brat, it reminds me of the brat Lady was when she yelled at Tramp in the original 'Lady and the Tramp' movie. Okay, if everything you say is true, I won't watch 'Pocahontas 2', thank you.
The prequel to TLM was kind of necessary because it explains Triton's prejudice against humans. It also gives Ariel's sisters more involved roles, changing them from being merely background characters.
The sequel wasn't too bad. If nothing else, Ariel's daughter was more reasonable than Ariel was.
I agree. I actually liked how Ariel pretty much turned into Triton, too scared of Morgana to just tell Melody the truth that she needs to be careful instead of saying “No sea period” plus Melody’s Atlantica locket is so adorable. Honestly I really wished Triton would’ve just put a spell on her legs she can turn into a mermaid anytime.
Excuse me, I grew up on the Little Mermaid 2. The Little Mermaid was/is my favorite Disney movie. Both 1 & 2.

Maybe THAT should’ve been the subtitle instead of “journey to a new world” considering there’s literally NO scenes when she’s onboard aside boarding and exiting. Pocahontas 2: Rebecca Rolfe would’ve been a more appropriate title
Being a child when all of these came out, I thought they where the best things on earth, so I find it hard to agree since I loved all the sequals except for Pocahontas 😂😢
Okay. Pocahontas 2 was kind of historically accurate
SAMEEE
100% agree
I don’t know why people are so upset by that. The real story of Pocahontas is a disgusting disaster
I haven’t seen all of them, but Mulan 2, Cinderella 2 wasn’t terrible but only outstanding part was Anastasia, and Cinderella 3 as Anastasia is defiling her mother’s orders, both Little Mermaid were so awesome, and Lady and the Tramp 2 actually was pretty decent, despite Lady herself isn’t in it as much and her daughters are basic snobs who kinda disown Scamp because he’s a wild child. Pocahontas 2 can just go to hell, only good part was Where Do I Go, otherwise -10 stars and the movie got so much hate its in its own category
The worst is when they don't use the voices from the original classic. It sounds nothing like the first film.😱😫
I know I hated Jeff Bennett as the Tramp, Larry Roberts and even Justin Theroux as Tramp in the live-action version of 'Lady and the Tramp' did a better job voicing the Tramp
Honestly the hunchback of Notre dame 2 wasn't bad at all
Well, the art and animation was so cringy, I think Esmerelda’s eyes are even blue in a few scenes 🤢 though I do kinda enjoy Quasi getting a girlfriend, though it kinda ruined the point of the original ending
@@kristinahuchison2511 because everyone felt bad for quasimodo for not getting esmerelda so they decided to get him madellaine
Kronk's new groove was fucking LIT fam and did you seriously just shit on Mulan ll
Isn't Mulan chinese? Why is a North Korean leader upset about it?
Kim Jong Un well, I never understood why mushu was breaking them up. I get that he wanted to keep his job, but he could have a position caring for her offspring. Besides, my favorites were when the three daughters of the Emperors daughters.
+neko zombie Mushu was Mulans family's ancestral guardian. After her marriage her offsprings would've been looked after by her husband's family's guardians and Mushu would be relegated back to being the ancestral spirits' slave.
true kronks movie was awesome and mulan was good af
I loved more than half of the movies on this list.... is there something wrong with me?
Huggable Sloth No. WatchMojo ran out of ideas.
Huggable Sloth Nah, I loved Fox and the Hound 2, Scamp's Adventure, and Tarzan II
Gothic Galaxy they really are running out of ideas and the don't really watch anything they talk about, if they did they wouldn't screw up character names and say things that didn't happen or whatever.
also Watchmojo are complete idiots for saying that Leroy and Stitch was "Unnecessary" since Leroy and Stitch was the conclusion of the story as a whole.
It's like their saying endings of stories are unnecessary. Totally glad I never subscribed to this channel, they have no idea what their talking about when they talk about it.
Edward West-Summers ikr! OFFICIALLY NEVER subscribing to this channel
Sooner or later this channel will admit that they don't do their research or whoever does do the research is terrible and the channel will just end these ridiculous top tens and just retire.
It’s important to remember that the sequels are made for kids and when I was kid, I never found anything wrong with the sequels and enjoyed most of them except for Pocahontas...
I agree. I haven’t seen all of them. I didn’t get to watch Pocahontas or the sequel until I was older, but Pocahontas and John Smith were one of my favorite couples ever since I was a kid. I definitely would’ve hated the sequel lol
I hated the sequels of 'The Lion King', and my top two favorite Disney movies, 'The Little Mermaid' and 'Lady and the Tramp', they ruined my life and love for them too..
Ms. Mojo: Did you agree to our list?
Me: *DISHONOR ON YOU! DISHONOR ON YOUR FAMILY! DISHONOR ON YOUR COW!*
Thank you for NOT including The Lion King II, because I like that movie. :)
To be honest, I agree with that
Same here. The Lion King 2 is my favorite Disney sequel. I loved the songs and the new characters in the movie.
Hewy Toonmore lion king 1/2 was shit I hate it
Whaaaaat that movie was hilarious! And creative. What other Disney movie sequel do you know that takes place during the original plot? That's actually really creative.
I think everyone loved that movie lol
Noooo Cinderella: Dreams Come True was the best movie ever!
Reason:
King- You may not walk out of this door!
Prince- Ok * Jumps out of window *
Emerald1555 That was the third movie, Cinderella 3: A Twist in Time. I actually enjoyed the third movie. The second one was....ok
I need to rewatch some of these movies, lol.
Emerald1555 Yas
That was the third movie tho xD
Hi Emerald1555 .
This is mean their trying to talk for us and their saying the wrong things some people actually like these movies, this makes me so so so mad 😡
10:03 me when my mom gets made at me for taking the last cookie.
I actually like Mulan 2 and thought it was one of the better sequels.
DarkLadyJade thank you! It was pretty great
I freaking loved it!!!
Same here ^^ the songs were really catchy too!
DarkLadyJade Mushu was slightly irritating, but overall it was an enjoyable movie and I wanted to see their relationship after the first movie.
Thank you! I actually think it's pretty good sequal!
HOW DARE THEY COME AFTER MELODY LIKE THAT
Right?!, half of these movies are really good
Ikr!!! I'm actually angry!
FR
Ikr! Am I the only one who loves most of these 😂
Yo the movie sucks tho
Pocahontas 2 should’ve had John Smith and Pocahontas reuniting and heading to Europe together and negotiate a treaty with the King of England. But Governor Ratcliffe and another villain would plot to disrupt the treaty with a secret invasion to America and eliminate Pocahontas’ people. The story would continue to develope Pocahontas as a strong character who wants there to be peace and at the end Smith decides to go back to America with Pocahontas and live happily ever after.
The ending should’ve been she becomes Pocahontas Smith! I mean even in the sequel it doesn’t even mention her real new name Rebecca Rolfe. I would’ve loved to see her moving to Jamestown to be with him, but she can also be with her tribe, and later on she’s made chief of her people and he ends up moving with her, considering her father called him brother and said their village was forever welcome to him.
Here’s my list:
1) Beauty and the Beast: Belle’s Magical World
2) The Hunchback of Notre Dame II
3) Mulan II
4) The Fox and the Hound 2
5) Tarzan & Jane
6) Cinderella II: Dreams Do Come True
7) The Little Mermaid: Ariel’s Beginning
8) The Return of Jafar
9) Atlantis: Milo’s Return
10) Kronk’s New Groove
Hey! I liked Hunchback of Notre Dame II!
Ashley Worden you do know it’s just his own personal opinion right?
You hate or like this movies?
Andor Olasz
Hate
Let's face it: 3/4 of these Straight-to-video sequels should have NEVER been made. I made the HORRIFIC mistake of watching George of the Jungle 2, every copy of that monstrosity needs put in a trash incinerator.
I actually really liked lady and the tramp 2. It had a similar story line, but.
Lady and the tramp was about someone who lived life rough, finds a nice girl, gets taken into a good home.
Lady and the tramp 2 was about a son who viewed having a good home as restrictive of freedom. He moves out, lives his own rules. He feels betrayed because he realises his father lived the life he was forbidden from living. He meets a girl who would who lives a rough life, but would give anything to be part of a stable home. Filled with guilt, he goes back to his father.
There's so much more elements than the same storyline.
It was my favorite movie growing up. I watched it so often at one point the DVD would crash near the end!
Isaac Huege de Serville ikr, it is a cute movie and it also has a nice moral, "be grateful of what you have"
Something happens so.... That's a improvement
@@nynndi6007 wow!
Same! I watched this so much that the disc got ruined, but I managed to fix it
Sooo I'm the ONLY one who enjoyed mulan 2 AND lady and the tramp 2?
Tom O'Rourke only mullan 2
Tom O'Rourke you are not alone
Tom O'Rourke we're on the same page! I was too young to get many of the good movies an only got sequels, so these were my childhoo! I did watch lady and the tramp and Aladdin as a kid though and theyre my favs
I enjoyed Lady and the Tramp 2 as well but I can't even remember Mulan 2 all that much.
Tom O'Rourke nope I enjoyed them both
Every single Lilo and Stitch movie is an enjoyable movie, including Leroy and Stitch.
Yeah it was the most amazing
I miss lilo and stitch
Mulan 1: Mulan brings honor
Mulan 2: Mulan brings dishonor
Cinderella 1: Cinderella doesn't complain much about being treated like a slave, doing chores, doing everything for her wicked stepfamily, is passive when her step sisters ruined her dress, patient and kind, enjoyed the dance
Cinderella 2: Cinderella complains everything about being rich in a palace where almost everything is done for her, called that dance "awful"
Pocahontas 1: Pocahontas saves John Smith
Pocahontas 2: Pocahontas ditches Smith for another John
Lol, I literally laughed at this, even though I hate how characters changed at the sequels especially Mulan and Cinderella
Beauty and the Beast: Belle is the most intelligent
Belle's Magical World: Belle is the most drunk person
Nah Pocahontas 2: absolutely destroyed one of the best couples in ALL of Disney for HiStoRiCaL AcCuRacY. These 2 were ready to die for each other!! Part 2: I’m going to choose the b****** who tried changing me and didn’t even want to bring me to King James, f*** your love and sacrifice that ended up saving countless lives.
I never understood why Disney's sequels decrease in animation quality. Is that like an official rule or something like that?
ikanian What Cyan said is partially true. The studio is now called DisneyToon Studios. The first thing they ever did was make the Ducktales movie. So, they did do something for an animated tv show but that's not what the studio is for. It's for direct to DVD sequels. They were originally located in the same building as the guys doing the tv cartoons. Now they just make the Tinker Bell movies. They also made the Goofy Movie and the sequel plus a few theatrically released movies
Time and money and people (I always believed that the younger folks that are still learning get their chance in those prequels). And yes, it's a shame.
I HAD NO IDEA Mushu was replaced?!?!?! DUDE he did a fantastic job I thought that was still him! o_o
Simachinima IM SAYINH
Yeah he was replaced because Eddie Murphy was playing Donkey on Shrek when Mulan 2 came out. He couldn't do both because of Shrek being a Dreamworks movie and I don't think Disney likes them very much.
I knew instantly they replaced him then i stoppped watching 💀
Simachinima not related, but I just gotta say, I LOVE YOUR MACHINAMAS!!!!!!
I loved the Hunchback of Notre Dame II :) seeing him find love when I was a kid made me song happy and made me feel like I too had a chance lol
I had to agree with you! Though the animation was terrible, like 'Return to the Sea', 'Return of Jafar', and 'Aladdin and the King of Theives'
Where is the Atlantis sequel? I can't even watch more than 10 minutes of that thing...
lol I don't get offended easily, but the 2nd Pocahontas pissed me off beyond all relief.
I hated it with my life
Same, I wouldn't watch that movie again even if someone paid me to.
I was pretty salty that she whines about john smith then at the end wants nothing to do with him, then they went and powdered her up and all that other nonsense, Pocahontas wouldn't do that it goes against her noble character
+Nyan-Chan
Pocahontas had never gotten dressed up in the original so it was good to do it once to see how it works out for her. Not surprisingly it doesn't work out just like it doesn't for Mulan. That is a good contrast from the other princesses in Disney movies that don't mind dressing up.
The ironic thing is Matoaka (her real name) actually did go to England and actually did end up marrying John Rolfe (through bargaining to escape imprisonment), going by the English name of Rebecca until she died of disease.
Don't come for Pooh's grand adventure, that is a masterpiece!
Zirious23 but dumb as fuck
@@thegreaticeteath Absolutely.
right!
I love it it’s a Disney sequel
I sometimes would’ve been fine with Cinderella 2 having the entire story of Anastasia and her love interest get extended in the entire feature possibly as the secondary focus while you’re getting to know Cinderella as a princess plus she’s very dressy in the entire installment
Most of the sequels that were the “worst” were good. But Pocahontas 2 did us dirty.
Honestly it could’ve been awesome if the ending was John Smith and Pocahontas are reunited, finally giving them a happily ever after. But no, lets make her forget who loved her for her and said he didn’t regret falling in love with her, instead a douche who was super uncomfortable for most of the damn film to present her all because she’s a girl, and tried making her a civilized lady instead. JohnSmithXPocahontas4ever
I kinda don't agree with most of this list to be honest
Same
Me neither.
Same, i like a lot of theas movies
Really the ONLY sequel/movie I completely hate is Pocahontas 2. The ONLY scene that doesn’t make me scream in rage or want to puke my intestines out was Where Do I Go, despite Disney deliberately chose not to show her being informed of his death to prevent her feelings for him from interfering with making John Rolfe her new love interest, this is a beautiful, yet mature love song as she has to let go of John Smith, for good this time. No where near the legendary level of If I Never Knew You, but still so beautiful. Otherwise I feel most Disney sequels aren’t awful, just good noncanon stories except Lion King 2, Mulan 2, Beauty and the Beast: The Enchanted Christmas, and Aladdin Return of Jafar and The 40 Thieves. Why the hell they didn’t use the same magic from these sequels on Pocahontas 2 to give us Pocahontas Smith is sickening and flat out disgusting and insulting, considering she remains the ONLY Disney princess without a happily ever after
I love Kronk’s New Groove, that is the best movie ever. I still watch it. The movie teaches you to be yourself, you don’t need everyone approval to be happy even your own family. It’s the best thing in the world 😡
Arianna McElroy it’s called OPINIONS EVERYONE HAS THEM
@@erenjagerspex7965 Exactly.
Kronks new groove was good. It was funny and a watchable sequel. It wasn’t the best story but it was funny
I’m going to pretend I’m number 30K.
10 -Got to admit, didn’t like it that much. It was pretty bad and the villain defeat? Lame
9 -I know it doesn’t make it sense but I love that one. Honestly, having Reba McEntire and Patrick Swayze in a Disney movie is cool. My grandma made me cheese sandwiches while watching it
8 -I love Kronk and I love the movie
7 -The prequel of The Little Mermaid is okay
6 -Happen to love that one, sorry. I know it’s nothing like the original
5 -Yeah, we can all agree that this shouldn’t exist
4 -I love this as well, except for Mushu’s plan. The song by the three princesses is one of my favorite Disney songs
3 -I have pure nostalgia for this
2 -Didn’t see this
1 -Okay, yeah. That one was bad, I’ll admit it but the things I like is Jaq kissing Mary and Anastasia finds love
excuse me, I love all of these except for Pocahontas 2. MULAN 2 IS AMAZING AND ITS ONE OF MY FAVORITE MOVIES
Why Mulan 2?? ONE ALONE IS NOT ENOUGH HAS BEEN STUCK IN MY HEAD FOR YEARS
Yaaaas it was a goood movieeee
That is a great movie!
I loved both but they took Mulan 2 off of Netflix and now I cri 😥
When I watch this movie, every time I would sing and dance to that song
It is mostly about mushu but people don't understand that..
Kronk : don't cry for me Argentina!
Me: best Evita reference EVER!
After releasing a lot of classics in the 90s, Disney came up in the 00s with sequels to goldies and anything they've released. Those were the years I grew up, and belonging to target audience age group, I have pretty much of first-hand and fresh experience of most of films on the list. I loved Kronk's New Groove. Yes, it isn't as charming as the first one but it still worked on me. Leroy and Stitch is also not bad. Mulan 2 was really entertaining to me back then. I also loved The Lady and the Trump sequel. Cinderella 3 was nice but I agree with you about 2. Beauty and the Beast 2 has actually pretty much epic story and song (As long as there's Christmas is a seasonal jam for me) for a D2V, all I wish is better animation. But Belle's Magical World is what I didn't need and still don't. Notre Dame 2 and The Fox and the Hound are so forgettable. But Pocahontas never let it clear why they even came up with it. Even before knowing the back story (I'm not American.) the sequel didn't make sense. And after knowing, both films didn't make sense AT ALL. And it only got weird. If they completely romantized the encounter between John Smith and Pocahontas, why they even brought up John Rolfe? IS it even needed?!
Pocahontas despite it unfortunately received backlash, mostly from Indigenous people and a bunch of history nerds, was still a pretty successful film. Well unfortunately Disney ever so stupidly tried appeasing to the minority that actually hated the original and Pocahontas 2 was made to be more historically correct, which the entire point was to change her love interest to John Rolfe instead because that’s who she married in reality. Let’s just say the sequel got so much hate (like a lot more than the others) to the point Rolfe doesn’t even appear in the parks or merch. Like Disney even confirmed the sequel isn’t canon either considering like 99% of fans still ship her with John Smith instead, and obviously for good reason. Unfortunately I can’t see Pocahontas actually getting a live treatment UNLESS it was historically correct, considering when her anniversary release came out, a movie called the New World was made as an attempt to “fix” the problem. It wasn’t made by Disney, though I can’t remember if Disney somehow cofunded it or something as to make amends for basically tarnishing the real story of Matoaka aka Pocahontas.
I’m part Native American, and Pocahontas and John Smith are one of my favorite Disney couples! If Disney had just used different names completely it would’ve done a lot better
in my opinion kronks new grove was pretty good `~`
boiniko fats Yessss I loved that movie
ya it was. the lil mermaid movies were not that bad either.
and beauty and the beast enchanted christmas was pretty good, gives you backstory on the beast.
it's wonderfull !!!!
boiniko fats ya it was amazing
boiniko fats I watched it 3 times and the original only once😂
The only one I have to disagree with is The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning as it explained WHY Ariel wasn't allowed to go to the surface in the first movie.
Piper Tye agreed! i loved knowing the begining
I don't think it needed much of an explanation, to be fair with. Triton had a prejudice with humans, Ariel's mother was absent, its 2+2. But making a movie out of it is a good idea, I just think "banishment of music" felt like a very little kid wrote that part. It could've been MANY other things, like Triton forbidding Ariel from leaving Atlantis, while she is eager to explore the ocean around.
Piper Tye Agreed, Ariel's Beginning was honestly really good considering it was a prequel.
MrKlausbaudelaire I can see where you're coming from. But I really like seeing the beginning and the backstory of why Trident hates the surface and humans so much.
we all do, and the reason was perfect, just that "banishing music" felt incredibly silly and not well-though. What was going on, people getting executed for humming? Arrested for whistling? Would make much more sense that Triton would simply forbid Ariel from leaving the palace for her own safety. And being curiosity Ariel's biggest trait, would make sense she would rebel.
ARIEL 2 WAS AMAZING YALL IM GETTING HEATED
Still, I love Pocahontas and John Smith and I wished I never knew that Pocahontas 2 existed and now I'm pretending that I didn't know it at all.
