Scar's betrayal.. The very definition.
Truth be told this betrayl will return in the remake.
Long live the king...
That shows you never know who wants your spot
More like extremely
Scar and Lotso’s betrayals where the most backstabbing
The top three betrayals were totally cruel and insane!!!
Ernesto and Hector symbolizes betrayal of a FRIEND.
Anna and Hans symbolizes betrayal of a LOVER.
Mufasa and Scar symbolizes betrayal of a FAMILY.
Which made the scenes more painful to watch.
Love this list! 😊
Imagine being so power-hungry that you're killing your own brother and also trying to get your nephew (who is a child) murdered as well. (Now Remake stuff comes) Then he desperately tries to convince Sarabi to become his wife, if the pain of loosing her husband and son wouldn't be enough.
Showing what power and wealth can do to people.
DaReal Me
Well said
OMG yes!!!!
"Long live the King"
- Scar 1994
You forgot one
Mickey and Marvel, Star Wars, National Geographic, Fox symbolizes betrayal of trusting a different company
Scar's backstab was on the Game of Thrones level.
"The Hyenas send their regards."
eternasapphiremoon81 or maybe:
“I did warn you not to trust me...”
and that was based from Hamlet, who did backstabs before GoT was a thing >:)
eternasapphiremoon81 that’s not saying much
This makes me remember the red wedding
yokai Number 3 at least
I will NEVER get over Ernesto's betrayal. What he did to Hector was just unforgivable; he's a very sweet soul who just wanted to be with his family again and wrote his music from his heart. I say, de la Cruz has no heart at all, and murdering his amigo and stealing his songs to be famous is so despicable!
You’re right what Ernesto did to Hector, he poisoned the beer and stolen his Guitar and songs.
I know. DESPICABLE! On so. Many. levels.
To quote Mr. Krabs: I knew your sincerity was insincere, sir!
Same here! I was so gutted and upset when seeing that in theaters! Totally wasn't expecting it!
But then I was really happy and overjoyed when Hector turned out to be Miguel's real great great grandfather!
yeah, you’re right
Scar's betrayal definitely deserves the #1 spot on this list.
This is saddest scene in #1. 😢😢😢😢😢
Not sure id say its "most brutal" but its definatly most iconic.
Long live the king-Scar 🦁
Fr! He didn’t just let go he threw his brother off.
U ruined the entire video
I am never ready for the 'Mufasa's death' scene.. Never..
Mari741s Scar doesn't really scare me. The villain that most likely gives me shivers is FROLLO.
@@joshualowe1821 I can agree with you on that, but I just think it's just such an emotional scene.. Not because of the villain, but because of what had just happened.
Mari741s True. Killing somebody's father and blaming the father's death on the son is pure evil.
I burst into tears every time, then the "simba what have you done?" Omg
Britany Atwood And then Scar lied to Simba saying that he was responsible for Mufasa's death.😡
Ernesto and Hector are only number three? Who could possibly be...[sees number one.] Oh, that's who.
Edit: wow! 283 likes! I've never gotten that many on a comment!
Edit again: wow guys, seriously, I'm blushing.
Hands up if you're behind Hector all the way and want to remember him!
I said the same thing, also about Lotso in TS3.
@@stephanieevjen
I'm with you!👐👐👐👐👐
The edits ruined the comment :/ Also, that’s not that many likes anyways dude
@@th0tpatr0l94 well, sorry if you dont like my edits. I just didn't think a simple comment about my liking Hector, would get over three hundred likes. That may not be a lot to you, but it is to me. I was pleasantly surprised.
I feel like there's a lot of betrayal in the Toy Story movies.

Disney beauty and the beast 2017
Belle and gaton
@@67lucita no it isn't. It was obvious that Gaston was a villain.
Yep, even Woody betrayed Buzz at first
@@67lucita , Gaston
Lotso just proves that just because someone has a kind, gentle appearance doesn’t mean they’re actually nice
Same goes with Mickey Mouse he looks like a good man but he will pay for what he done of selling out companies like Star Wars, 20th Century FOX, Marvel, Pixar and National Geographic
And that, if you save someone's life, they won't always respond in gratitude, let alone be willing to save you.
Mayor Bellwether definitely proved to be one of those you would never expect or see coming; this is why Zootopia was so brilliant. Although, you definitely can't beat Scar killing Mufasa. Absolutely ruthless and well-deserved death in the end.
I saw it coming by paying attention. But it's still great betrayal.
@@catherineterry1111 I knew _somebody_ was scheming against the predators. I never figured it would be Bellwether, tho.
Zootopia was a crime movie for kids. Since Judy hops becomes a cop and most of the movie deals with searching for a reason why predators go savage.
That, and Zootopia proved itself to have a far better villain plot-twist than Frozen. Even Coco had a much better plot-twist than Frozen.
@@MrEasyNah yeah; I was thinking the same thing, but I did not expect her to be behind it

I couldn't remember all the betrayals and every events of the movies in the video
I think there's already a list like that
You could have put Tarzan and Clayton in the honourable mentions
Yeah, you are right about that part!
Or Edgar as "Mysterious Catnapper Abducts Family of Cats".
As well as Copper and tod
I know Varian from Tangled the series is not in a Disney movie, but still deserves a place on this list when he betrayed Rapunzel to get the Sun Drop Flower after she couldn’t help him save his dad and tried to make amends with him.
So it was all the secrecy that Clayton planned on catching all gorilla residence! Him and his thugs could've done without Tarzan, congratulations on his quest. Tarzan wouldn't listen that Kerchak's right to protect the entire families then Tarzan betrayed them all, and Tarzan's confuse he doesn't understand where he came from?
Hans wasnt a surprise they warned you in "Love is an open door". Dude legit points at the castle and says "I've been looking my whole life to find my own place"
S A Hans may literally be talking about a castle-place, but the audience is supposed to think he’s talking about having a place in the world
And Lion King wasn't a surprise. When introduced to Scar we already learn that he hates Mufasa and is jealous of him.
Well, they're not really plot twists. But still, way to overrated!
Also the miners say”beware of frozen Hans”
Darth Athestya "beware the Frozen Heart" is what they actually say
RainbowKidDoesThings oh ok
Gravity Falls: THERE IS NO ONE YOU CAN TRUST!!!!
The whole point of Disney

(side note: still wanting a scene from Big Hero 6 on if the Daughter ever found out what her father did)
Yeah so true. These are moments that we were scared of when were kids.
Come on y’all who knew that Scar killing Muffasa was going to be number 1
Everyone knew yeah because these lists are so unoriginal and predictable
We can say Simba was "Scarred" for life.....
YEEEAAAAHHHHH!!!!!!😎
Too soon, man, just too soon.
Nice one
J. Jonah Jameson: You're fired.
Love this
In Ursula's case, she was just playing the devil's advocate. All Ariel had to do was just read the damn fine print. Seriously, folks. You should always, always, always, *ALLLLWWAAAYS* read the fine print when it comes to signing a contract.
Thank you 😡
Sounds like Meg and Hades' arrangement
Ursula sent her minions to sabotage part of Ariel's deal; therefore, Ursula is still a cheater. At one time, I think that her two minions capsized a boat.
Yeah, but Ariel's a kid; there's a reason you have to be over 18 to legally sign a contract (personally, I think even that's a little too young).
Mufasa's death scene still shocks me everytime
Left everyone cold for months
I LOVE THAT YOU MADE BIG HERO 6 FIRST! 1:22 I LOVE HOW YOU MENTIONED THE SHOW!
FINALLY! SOMEONE ELSE WHO LIKES BIG HERO 6!!!!!!
😊
Hey, I love Big Hero 6 too!
Me too Big Hero 6 rules ✊
I do, too!
Mario being left out of Ralph Breaks the Internet is the true Disney betrayal. Nintendo first betrayed Peach, then they betrayed Mario.
I like Lotso's betrayal he made the toys think he can be trusted so he could brainwash Buzz who was trying to protect his friends Buzz became the 2nd in command for the group until he turned against the pals and end up being forced to work for the enemy.
At first I was like "What could possibly beat Hans???"
......ahhh yes I see that's worse
My thoughts exactly.
4:38 I appreciate whenever Hercules is acknowledged. Underrated Disney movie.
Moon Butterfly's betrayal and Cassandra from Tangled the series's betrayal.
That's a list for another time
Top 10 Ultimate Disney Channel Betrayals
MrAnthonydemesa at least, unlike these betrayals, Cassandra redeemed herself at the series finale.
Scar's betrayal is the most diabolic and evil of them all, much more than Bellwether ever could be.
Disneyfan82 mostly because Scar is an actual villain, not a plot device.
I’m not sure if Jafar should be here since he was never really on the Sulton’s side to begin with
@Jason Steelflex Scar doesn't fit into that because the hyenas killed him and they were on his side at the start of the movie.
Jerimy’s Pop Culture Tops Eh, it's not the betrayer's perspective that matters here, it's that of the ones they betray. Sure, the audience saw at least most of these coming from a mile away, but we have the advantage of not actually being part of the story.
Nonsense! One thing I pride myself on, RW Pop Culture Tops...; I'm an excellent judge of character.
Yeah I don’t think J should be here either I mean Scar is completely worse than him Seriously killing your own brother?!!? That’s just pure evil!
Maybe if Ralph cared more about keeping Sugar Rush at the arcade instead of hogging Vanellope, or maybe Ralph should have just talked to her in person, then Ralph wouldn't have become the biggest insecurity that would destroy the internet.
Or maybe if Vanellope hadn't taken Ralph for granted by saying her friendship with him is never good enough unless she has thrills, he wouldn't have struggled with his insecurity enough to only want the best for Vanellope by not wanting her to go Turbo and stay with some racing gal like Shank she barely even knows that well.
When I first saw the trailer for coco, I had a feeling that ernesto would be the villain in the movie. I was actually right, but I didn't see miguel's great great grandfather being someone else coming.
Great list even tho I knew The Lion King would be number 1.😍
thank you for spoiling that
if its not number 1 i would unsubscribe
Aly Walling sorry but if you have been on youtube more than one day you would know that comments contain spoilers all the time. Next time just watch the video and read the comments after
Ralph Breaks the Internet as a whole was an ultimate betrayal
Truth
I think Ralph never really betrayed anyone. It was just the movie and Vanelope who were betrayed everything.
Team Weird I think they mean that the movie sucks so much its like a betrayal
"Where's your kid NOW, Sheriff?!"
Number 1 is Lion King is it?
*number one is Lion King* CALLED IT!
Me too.
Aw, too bad Yzma's betrayal of Kuzco is not on the list.
Scar deserves the number one spot though.
because Yzma betrayal makes sense and she is completely justified
Technically, Bellwether didn't frame the mayor. He played himself into Bellwether's hands and was ousted for good reason when he went too far in his attempts to investigate the crisis. Bellwether would've had a harder time taking over had the mayor stuck to a legal investigation.
The Disney betrayals that took me by surprise are in Ralph Breaks the Internet, Coco, and Zootopia. Bellwether's takeover doesn't fit perfect with the climax ending scenes in An American Tail: Fievel Goes West and A Bug's Life, but it was most surprising. I actually suspected Evelyn's villainy in Incredibles 2. Come on, Evelyn Deavor, evil endeavor. It was obvious. I had a feeling that Lotso should have been higher, he is the most ruthless and evil villain in Disney history. Sorry if it was long, but I had to speak with my mind.
I suffer more when Ralph destroys the car... Who feels betrayed with Jafar manipulating the Sultan? It's worse when the Genie must turn against Aladdin.
The one that scarred me the most was the betrayal in "Atlantis". I was only 12 or 13 when I saw the movie and I did NOT see that twist coming. I never thought AN ENTIRE TEAM could turn against one innocent person. It was just so cruel and unforgivable.
Luckily they saw the light and switched sides. Greed brings out the worse in people.
They did all admit that they were on the mission for the money. But most of them realized that Rourke took things too far.
Tangled should've been in the top 5. Rapunzel grew up with someone she thought she could trust. A Mother like figure. That's a Big Betrayal. It Should've been one of the Top 10.

Memes For days Pixar and Disney go hand-in-hand.
Toy Story is a Disney film though. 🤦♂️
Toy Story is Disney though. Pixar is basically Disney's adopted child.
@@AWlpsSHOW36 correction, Pixar is Disney's biological child. Marvel, Lucasfilm, and 20th Century Fox are Disney's adopted children.
@@Nighlocktheawesome00 well, kinda. Disney has distribuited all of Pixar's films, but Pixar as a company wasn't owned by Disney until 2006
What about Cassandra from Tangled and the sugar plum fairy frome the nutcracker and the four relms? Those really made me mad
Ursula betraying her and Ariels deal was 100% Disgusting and unforgivable.
I think Ernesto's betrayal was more shocking and heartbreaking than Hans
🙏#1-Evil kills his Brother! The definition of True Betrayal by a Villain
I honestly was surprised that J.P. Waternoose from “Monsters, Inc.” didn’t get even an honorable mention. Most of the film, you think he’s attempting to save the Monster world by doing things the RIGHT way, and then you learn that not only is Waternoose okay with Randall’s plan to kidnap children, HE CAME UP WITH THE IDEA TO SAVE THE WORLD AT ANY COST!!
Yes!!!
Scar definitely deverse the first place!!!
R.I.P Mufasa😭
They should’ve included Cassandra’s betrayal in tangled the series
And Moon betrals in Svtfoe
@francis felipe corre I know, but still

Okay, somebody just let me get my point across like this:
Vanellope is NOT a selfish character in Ralph Breaks the Internet. Really, this movie is about her personal growth as a person. I don’t even understand the hate towards her and the movie, but honestly, it peeves me off.
Before any of y’all even say anything about Vanellope, YES I AM outright defending her. I want to put something to you hell-sent haters like this.
Of course, she was too afraid of telling Ralph she wanted to live in Slaughter Race. This was because she thought it would damage her friendship with him. She still cared about Ralph, how the hell can she even be dumb enough to forget about him?
Yes, Ralph heard her, and of course he thought she was betraying him. Now I don’t usually point fingers, but really HE did the backstabbing. Not Vanellope just because she left the arcade and everyone there, especially RALPH. Okay, he tried to mess with Vanellope’s dreams of unpredictability racing, which was NOT a smart move. You cannot purposely ruin your best friend’s dreams just for your sake. The way I see it, Ralph did this to not only keep Vanellope with him, but he also tried for things to go back to the way he used to love for them to go. Y’know, when he and Vanellope were BFFs for 6 years, playing around in the arcade. He wanted that life back, kind of like Vanellope wanted her racing life back, only a bit better. His selfishness and insecurity caused Vanellope to (temporarily) break up with him. By the end, he learns that holding his friend back from her dreams is a bad move, and that he needs to trust her, no matter what decisions she makes. Has no one even considered that he also learns that “life does not always go the way you planned,” something Hiro Hamada says?
Of course she says the other racers in Sugar Rush would never miss her. Well, considering what happened at the end of the first film, I don’t know what happened with Vanellope and Taffyta before the sequel, but I can just tell they have another rivalry, even without the help of Turbo. Plus, someone says something about a rotation of the roster. Chances are players won’t even question she’s missing.
So there y’all have it. Vanellope is NOT to blame for anything, nor is she selfish. She did the right thing, she is following her dreams, anyone who thinks otherwise is either LYING or STUPID.
END. OF. DISCUSSION.
That's an interesting POV. Not disagreeing with you, just impressed.
Fiction Fanboy Thank you. I just waited so long to figure all this out, and I’m glad I did. I am also sick and tired of ppl pointing fingers @ Vanellope. She basically did nothing wrong here.
"Number 1: Long live the king"
Me: ......yeahhhhhh, I completely agree.

Jaffar is holding the same magic bottles seen in Emperor's new groove
Could it be that Jaffar taught Yzma the way of transformation potions?

Awesome video
Amazing video of ultimate betrayal etc
I feel like anyone who was set up from the beginning as a villain shouldn't count. Ursula, Scar, Gothel, Frollo, etc.
Ernesto betraying Hector and killing him to steal his music is truly a heinous villain moment
“You’re no match for Elsa.”
“No. _You’re_ no match for Elsa.”
Should have added in Varian and Cassandra, even if they are not movie villains. They still count as betrayals.
@francis felipe corre Umm he betrayed Rapunzel the moment she lead him right to where the gold flower was and admitted his crime in turning citizens against each other.
One thing scar couldnt kill simba but killed mufasa
I love your voice! Can’t imagine this channel without your voice 😀
Omg!! These betrayals still get to me!! Especially the one in coco, frozen, tpy story 3, hercules!! Especially coco, as soon as Hector(my fav character in coco) dropped to the floor, my heart sank!! And of course the one in lion king and tangled!!!
Thank you for taking my request
The way I see it, the only reason anything happened in Ralph breaks the internet was because Vanellope constantly whined about wanting something new in her game. Be careful what you wish for little girl.
9:14 No, actually, he ORIGINALLY planned to marry ELSA.
Joshua Desautels That thought didn't last long, though. He said Elsa, as the eldest, was "preferable, but no one was getting anywhere with her."
Disney does betrayal spectacularly. I like it that they usually stick the landing with the aftermath, too. (I haven't seen all their movies so I can't fairly say "always stick the landing".) In Big Hero 6 the series they showed a realistic reaction; Hiro was still healing and wasn't ready to forgive Callaghan yet. The characters lash out, they hurt each other, and they choose how to respond. You can get bitter or better, and that's the difference between hero and villain.
And as Ford wrote in Journal #3, "Trust should not be given unconditionally, but it should be given a chance to be earned."
Of all these (and discounting ones I haven't seen), ten and four and two are the ones that actually did catch me by surprise
I cried at the slaughter race thing
Gotta love how she used the terms “Face/Heel Turns” 😍
Scar:I wanted to go to KFC
Mufasa:we went to Burger King
Scar:hmm that’s funny I can make a pun out of that
Scar:long live the king
Mufasa:MACDONALDS!......

I was trying to figure out who could possibly top frozen, I remember whole theaters shouting at that scene. Then they said lion king, and I remembered the great betrayal of my childhood. Well done.
LOL, after watching this, I realized you (the narrator/host) sound incredibly similar to Meg's voice actress xD. It hit me when you literally said "Wonderboy" LOL!
EDIT: I also really need to add, The Captain from 'Atlantis' reminds me a great deal of Miles Quaritch from 'Avatar' O.o
Wow this is awesome
This is the earliest i got
I’m so sick of these horrible villains like Bellwether, Hans, Evelyn screenslaver, even that stupid jerk from Atlantis, they’re so poorly written they hide behind throughout the movie, they’re so terrible!

There really could be no other choice for the #1 spot.
How is incredibles 2 not even an honourable mention
Maybe WatchMojo wanted to save Incredibles 2 for future lists. But honestly, there are much better-handled Disney betrayals IMO. It’s because The Underminer could have been the villain of Incredibles 2, but instead, Disney just wanted to repeat its cliche of plot twist villains. I respect your opinion, but a few examples of animated superhero film that deserves much better than Incredibles 2 is its predecessor, The Incredibles, Big Hero 6 as well as Into the Spider-verse.
