    Some thermorezistant rubber at the sharpy edges. The whole plane is very thoughtfull hand crafted. A real masterpiece.

    I had the pleasure of seeing one of your 130s start and run last weekend. Incredibly quiet and super smooth. In fact, I ordered a 750 Cruzer today and will have you come back to Texas for another install in the future.

    I"m really eyeballing the 195hp version for my Bearhawk Patrol build... think it would be about ideal for the platform. I'm still a couple years out from needing it, so no hurry, but I'm researching early. Keep posting, I'll keep watching!

      He should do a Honda K20c option. 300hp forged internals stock turbo crate engine. That's what I really want to see.

    Ah I was just at Merritt a few weeks ago. Didn’t know you were so close. Would have liked to see the setup.

    Viking 195hp. Guess slightly more turbo boost then? I'm building a Whisper X350 (like RV7, but composite) and have been giving a lot of thought to what Viking should go in there :) Super excited! Love seeing videos on the 180hp, as that is my interest and there are just too few...

    I live in California now but I hail for New Smyrna Beach and fly here in a LSA, The Sting having a great time in that sweet plane. This one looks great too. Is John Massey still around or his brother Dale?

    In one of your videos several years ago, you hinted that you were going to put a Viking turbo into a Sling 4/TSI. Any chance we will see a project like that in the future?

      As soon as a builder decides to we will, a 130 with variable pitch prop is probably more ideal. We personally won’t purchase one so just have to wait until someone wants too.

    Can you fly across the country with one of your Honda Engines? Like regular trips between Ohio and Florida.

    • @eggenfellner
      @eggenfellner  Před 25 dny

      No, we barely have switches. 🤪 however, you have a great panel setup and ideally those guards are great to have - especially if you have passengers or aren’t hyper vigilant that could “accidentally” bop it down.

    Should you really be flying and holding your phone in your hand at the same time?

    • @eggenfellner
      @eggenfellner  Před 3 lety +6

      If you can't multitask, you really shouldn't be a pilot :) Your attention must be diverted frequently between monitoring, navigation, heck even eating or drinking.

    • @Marriage1stGod

      Better to be holding a phone than a highball, don’t ya think?
