Carrie was always chasing after big . She was the type of girl who wanted to fix him . She was so desperate to be seen important by him that she lost her self respect and big knew about it and took advantage of that

Iâm married but really needed to see this today. My husband use to be amazing and treated me so well and like I was great. But now have a baby and heâs acting almost like big, like I donât matter and takes me for granted. Iâve being feeling so low but this made me feel a little better
me too i was so excited to marry a single dad and become a step mom. and we even got a cat together too. and now he has second thoughts and has gone cold and second thoughts. im scared to loose all three of them, i need to stay strong enough to stay away so that he can miss me, or it will help me move on.
Level up physically, emotionally and spiritually. Never get complacent. Men need to feel like they never quite have you..
Love this! Thank you for pointing out how unhealthy and dysfunctional SATC portrayed dating. Love that we are now transcending that culture.

Correction:
1. Carrie's relationship was a train wreck. A soap opera to a soap opera what soap operas are to normal people.
2. Miranda's marriage had issues. But she had a fairly good thing going with her husband.
3. For Charlotte? I have little to complain about.
4. Samantha, well, she's a non-committer but at least she's honest about it. The Quagmire of the show so to say.
I recommend a lot the book âheâs not that into youâ by Greg Behrendt and Liz Tuccillo who wrote the script for sex and the city, it teaches about having high standards
The movie was good too.
Big was so cold to me ... I could never with him. I âve left men with better situations than Big just because of their disrespectful behaviors, doctors,ingeneers, businessmen, millionnaires . Because the situation and physique cannot do everything for a women, we also need to be treated well, very well , a man got to adore you to deserve you, this is how it is...

This show was so painfully American I had a hard time watching it, but it was indeed a good lesson of life.
Excellent analysis of SATC. Charlotte will always be a favourite character. I love her style, I'm so happy that she got the perfect happy ending she wanted all along.
Big is the type of guy friend that you keep around for when you need to feel good about yourself whenever you're down, because he's sure to always flirt with you, tell you what you want to hear, and he'll definitely try to get you to bed, but will be a gentleman when you say " no". He's the type of male friend that you take with you to important events, and you need to impress, but you don't have a steady man in your life. He's not the type of guy that you get serious with unless you're a masochist who loves having a broken heart, and getting hurt. Carrie was always desperate, and if it wasn't Big she was chasing, it was someone else. When she finally did have a guy who she didn't have to chase, and who wanted a commitment, a serious commitment, she tossed him away with both hands. Aiden deserved a lot better than Carrie. Big treated Carrie as a Love Doll, and I'm sorry to say that, but he did, because he knew that he could. He knew that he could have her anytime he wanted wanted, that all he had to do was pick up the phone, say whatever she wanted to hear, and she'd come running to him. Yes, the other female characters had their faults, but Carrie had them big time. My favorite of the four was definitely Samantha.

I do agree that Charlotte is the ultimate feminine woman and I've always related to her the most but I think she was too flexible with man and that she puted man over her lifetime work...that's crazy! But don't get me wrong I adore her and her standards. :)
Speaking of Carrie yes she was very needy and insecure and even tho I love the Mr Big's charm, Aiden was my favorite and I couldn't ever understand why she pushed him?
Samantha was the funniest one I agree and I agree with everything you said about her too.
Speaking of Miranda I love that she had boundaries but yes she was too musculine a priorotize her work over love she actually deserved...
All in all they've all made mistakes but despite that SATC is one of my favorite shows mostly because of how much fabulous they were and how much of a friend they were to each other! â¤ď¸

I can relate to Charlotte a lot.
My love story is close to identical to hers :)
Now watching it at the point Iâm at in life, I can see that all these women were using men in one way or another to fulfill some part of herself. Even Samantha wasnt truly empowered and balanced. Though she could have been had she chosen to work on a healthy relationship with Smith. Charlotte was searching for someone to validate her as a woman through marriage. Carrie had no self worth and also needed validation. And Miranda needed to seriously work on her trust wounds and femininity. None of them were good role models overall-just 4 women making mistakes and helping each other figure it out and thatâs why itâs a great show
I think Carrie didnât learn much because she ended up with Big.
Great analysis of the characters! I haven't watched all the episodes but I can see the different forms of energy these women portray through your video. Personally, I like the combination of Charlotte and Samantha. Loved 22:54 - 22:59 with that jazzy music in the background. By combining them, there is that balance of being feminine and prioritizing yourself but also being humble and having those familial values.
One thing I want to point out, and correct me if I'm wrong, but from the episodes I saw, I can see that there was some tension between Carrie and Samantha. You mentioning that Carrie being the wounded feminine energy and Samantha having that self-centered energy can cause a clash with not just other women, but also yourself as well and it also shows how important it is to keep an emotional balance. Of course there will be emotional hurt but we shouldn't let that emotion dictate our thoughts and stop us from seeing ourselves as high value and important.

Big was so annoying haha. He never answered any of her questions. Oh and Burger!! he was annoying. This was good and fun content to watch. I loved SATC. I always watch it now and again. It's interesting watching it at different dating and relationships stages of your life. You view things differently because you can relate to certain story lines even more. Plus as I've become more mature, the character(s) I thought i was more like has changed over the years :)

Myyy favorite, i loved this. I even made myself a pitcher of strawberry tea with mint and had some nuts along with it. This was Such a beautiful and articulate breakdown of the characters. I think that at some point or the other we have all been Carrie, Charlotte, Miranda and Samantha. My favorite is of course Charlotte, but i also love Carrie. She was the funniest and so witty, i just love that about her. I love all of them and i can't wait to have friends as loyal as Samantha, so we could go have drinks and go dancing together đ¤đ¤

A man's perspective:
Charlotte - Probably the best put together.
Samantha - She's a non-committer. But at least she was largely honest about it.
Miranda - She gets the 2nd place medal, largely because I feel like her issues were the most 'typical' of what most women go through. She felt very 'average' to me.
Carrie - Ugh. She's the worst. She's probably easily far and away the most in denial of the four. Oh wait, did I say the other three were in denial? Oh no! The other three are fully and completely aware of their issues. Carrie however just seems completely and utterly clueless. I wasn't sure if her lack of self awareness to me was either funny or sad. Carrie is quite literally a walking textbook case for a psychology PhD student.
Lisa , a Fabolous video! So on point with all the characters. FYI I have a suggestion. Do a role play videos actually role playing real life examples of feminine vs masculine energies in different settings ie on a date, with friends. A vast majority of people strongly relate to more concrete examples. This might take some time for you. Ie you might need to hire an make actor or recruit a male friend to do the role plays. But if I were to look at all the coaches out there the main thing that's missing is practical, real life scenarios that people can relate to more. I seriously think if done well it could be a HIT. It might have to have a comical element too and be briefly and "snappy" with high quality backgrounds etc but be the first ! PS. Matthew Hussey started doing this a bit and people really take to it.

Carrie is not in love with Aiden and she's still hoping to be with her unicorn man, Mr. Big.
That's why Carrie doesn't want to marry Aiden and says things like 'let's live together' while she was desperate to be Bigs wife who wws fine with 'let's go with the flow'.
Also, let's keep in mind that while the actor playing Aiden was kinda attractive (maybe more than the actor playing Big) he was maybe not so attractive in the 'book'.
I've only met one man who was more into me and he was in low condition (with a drive) but he wasn't attractive at all. And for a woman to lay with a man she's not attracted to it's very hard especially if you're not even being compensated for it, like living a comfortable life.
