When it comes to these very delicate parts you should always get the OE supplier for your cars brand. You don’t have to go to the stealership, but find out who supplied your car with these sensors from the factory.
For an example: Siemens made these sensors for BMW a while ago, so if you own that brand try to find a Siemens sensor, because that is the original part used on BMW’s when they rolled out of the assembly line.

I think he does a good job on explaining things. He's very helpful. The only thing that I suggest is that there are some CPS packages that comes with shims and this should be explained as to why you use them and what to check for. Other than that ... great job Scotty.

Hey Scotty it was the coolant temperature sensor connector. It wasn't even connected. Now it turns on just fine. Thank you so much for you help and time. Your videos are awesome. Your so funny and cool. I do have another question. My power steering makes a noise sometimes then it goes away. Should I do a flush?. And sometimes when I'm turning on the truck I hear a noise like a belt or pulley. Maybe the power steering pump is making noise and the pulley is going bad not sure.

    Hi Scotty,
I have a 96 F150 with 4.9 and it runs pretty rough, and misses when you touch the throttle at all. the codes comes up p0385 which is crankshaft position sensor. I'm currently waiting on one Ive ordered. When I was taking the old one apart it pretty well came off in pieces. Today I started the truck up with no sensor on it and it run the same as it did before. Here's hoping it is as simple as the sensor!
    Love the videos!

could be tons of things, best to have it scanned and analyzed. but you could try my video "how to clean fuel injectors on your car" that often fixes such a problem, as hondas tend to carbon up.

The Camshaft Position Sensor (CMP) on this engine is bolted to the front/top of the right cylinder head.
The Crankshaft Position (CKP) sensor is located at the right-rear side of the engine cylinder block, but you have to remove the starter to get to it

it measures what position the camshaft is in so the engine computer can set timing and fuel injection firing correctly.

The TDC/CKP/CYP Sensor is mounted inside the distributor housing and is not serviced separately. You would have to replace the entire distributor.
