Do you make one for a 1960 f100?
The big difference between they two is the warranty I believe. Champion is lifetime and Alloy is 1 year.
I bought an alloy works radiator and it was garbage. The fans didn't last 30 days and it started to leak after 60 days and eventually leaked two gallons in 3 days. I replaced this junk with a champion and have had no problems since. And i did contact alloy works and got no reply. I should have went with the Champion radiator in the first place.
Oh nooo, I heard nothing but good things besides, they say the fans are not that powerful
I believe it’s all a marketing scam. I’ve seen few people say the same thing, and I just ordered one so we will see. All reviews only post of the install and a quick run if you’re lucky. Is there anything I should keep in mind if I have to return it?
support@alloyworksplus.com here. The email I use to talk with them. Mine works fine so far 🤷🏻 my body codi has one on a boosted coyote no issues yet. It sends me that everything is made in China now. It’s now which piece of crap is less crappy.
Looking forward to trying out the Alloy Works radiator on my 1968 bronco.
usually One can tell if something is china made by the color of the carboard box its in.
Good review - I ended up shelling out for one of the AW units because Champion doesn't even make one for my application. We'll see how it works!
I'm about due for a new radiator or having mine rebuilt. This was great to run across.
I remember when champion was the “off brand” 😂 I say run it!
Had one of their rads in my car and maybe drove the car 50 times since the install and it's already leaking from where the tubes are welded/brazed to the tanks. Contacted them and the best they would do is 8% discount on another radiator. So I just bought a radiator from summit racing under summits brand. If alloyworks stood behind their products they would have done better than an 8% discount.

Nope don't buy one. I did. I was super disappointed. The core itself was way undersized. Measurements on there website looked good. But the core was way way thinner then oem. I was like that's y it's not been doing the job. I toom it out and installed new oem. Oem cooled way better. So im done with this brand. Watch out. Idk if they lied on purpose about the thickness of the core or what. Oem which is stock is 2 3/16 thick. Alloy was 1 9/16 thick. I was like holy hell. These measurements are for my application. Dodge ram 2500 1999.

Well I installed a Champion about two years ago in my 92 Z28 and now it leaks so I bought a Alloyworks last week and tried to install it today and found out the transmission lines won't thread in the radiator because they threaded the hole fitting in metric not standard so now i got to send it back and hope to get a refund. So i don't think much of Champion or Alloyworks.
That is an issue but not too uncommon for aftermarket radiators. It's actually set up for hydraulic hose connection and they make adaptors.
