You know what would actually be one of atlus best decisions? Porting their old games that are forgotten on dead devices
DDS1+2, Raidou1+2, SMT1, 2, if...., 4, 4A, ST, Devil Summoner, Soul Hackers, etc.

Persona 1 & 2, Atlus is fine with porting and remastering Persona 3 & 4 and forgetting the games that came before them...
I'm looking forward to hearing whatever new music they've added. The OST was God tier
my body is ready to dive back into SMT V headfirst this summer.
I am currently playing SMT V and i am thoroughly enjoying it, and the story is definately not bad at all. I will be picking up Vengeance later on for the Switch.

Dang man, that certainly sucks. Hope that isn’t too discouraging and luckily Vengeance will be on Switch as well, so there’s that. The Switch definitely has other great games too that could validate your purchase for you. Either way that’s still disappointing and I feel for you.
With SMTIV there was the base game and Apocalypse, so I guess SMTVV is that but in one game to also be able to make a multiplatform release. If the new campaign is basically like a whole new game, that's great.
Its coming out on my birthday im excited!
I really wish they would give us more updates about the game. The last video talked about some interesting stuff that they said they update us on.....I hope we don't have to wait another month or so.

I saw some people complain about the Save Anywhere function and I'm like what?
Complaining is in the DNA of those that call themselves "Megaten Fans". Hopefully they realize that they can just not use the save function if they want to risk losing progress (they love losing progress)
So will the physical copy’s of SMT vengeance be including the old DLC content on the cartridge that was available for the original SMTV?
Or is it just the digital versions of vengeance that will be including the old DLC? Some clarification would be appreciated please and thanks
Unfortunately all I have is a switch so I’m hopeful that it runs well on the system ❤
From what it's stated, Vengeance (no matter the version) will include the old DLC content in the base game.

Oh nice thanks for the clarification, I was not looking forward to having to buy the old DLC again honestly. If I was going to need to? I would probably be passing on vengeance honestly. Now I may actually be getting the game

They need to release devil summoner 1 & 2 from ps3 jail. The ps2 physical versions are too expensive.

Who cares, they admitted they are making the combat more accessible like they do in every remake. These are meant to be challenging strategy games, so I will keep the Switch version.

Yes u most definitely should. It’s going to be a major overhaul and huge improvement over the base game. If you can, sell it secondhand. If you got a physical copy that is, or keep it and just hold off playing it if you can. I’m certain you won’t be disappointed.

You definitely should, yeah. It's stated that even the original route will be more fleshed out in Vengeance.
I grinded the original SMT V like crazy, I think I'll go for the Steam version for the cheats that will remove what annoyed me the most in the original game and only focus on the story and have the "demon dream team".

I loved smt 5 but it’ll really put a bad taste in my mouth if they make it so we have to pay full price for the added content if we already have the first game even if they’ve been doing it, still feels pretty disrespectful to their consumers imo
Elden ring's presence is still scaring other developers 2 years later. A true game of the generation title.
No one is scared of ER.
It's less like a grizzly bear type of fear and more of an elephant about to crush their legs type deal so they have to move out of the way. No one is deathly afraid of ER like you're making it seem.
@@NuiYabuko Atlus moved the release date of smtv vengeance for a reason. They are scared of dlc for a 2 year old game taking the spotlight.
They should've moved it a month forward instead. One week isn't enough. Shsdow of the ErdTree for a good month at least will eat every other release alive.
In terms of the major corporations of course it's perfect for marketing and giving you the same game, rebranded with more little bonus things and your going to pay for it because the consumer is a sheep. I mean personally me I'm just going to emulate any game that I want for free. Honestly all companies just rebrand there games exactly this way. Like the iPhone they hook you harder than hookers

It's mainly worth it to get the game if you're going to be playing it on another platform. Think of it like a port that adds a significant amount of things 😉. Rockstar Games can literally port the same game 3-4 separate occasions and there are no boycotting campaigns against them. Don't get me started on Bethesda with Elder's Scrolls Skyrim being ported 9 times over it's entire history. This rerelease deal they have going on isn't so bad in this case and P5R gave us one of the best games of all time (that actually changed my life for the better and gave me a reason to study philosophy). Everything in it's right place brother, everything has it's place and time and this is the place and time for a port/rerelease like this considering it was trapped on the Switch for a good while (it's been 3 years since 2021, can you believe that?)

i'm just so glad megaten games are making it onto PC now. if you told me a couple years ago we'd be getting simultaneous PC and console releases for megaten games i might not have believed you. but it makes me excited for the future of the series. and of course, excited for metaphor to come out sometime this year.
i really hope we can get an smt4 port to pc someday. that game deserves to be preserved, the 3ds is getting really old and the game is going to be really inaccessible soon. i wouldn't be opposed to a remake, either. but i'd prefer a persona 5 royal treatment, rather than something like a strange journey redux treatment.
