"Don't drop the custom strat" đ”đ¶
Glenn Fricker being "attacked" by bass players is the best thing ever, lol!
Lol man I wish I was there too
There is such a peacefulness about Mary's videos.
That feminine singer/songwriter touch, no doubt.
Thereâs a lot of smugness too
It's the background music
Youâre right. She seems such a gentle soul. Iâm sure itâs a treat to visit her in person.
That was so strange ~ so many of the people I subscribe to and watch all in one clip - good shoot!
I know right
Who else was elated to see Paul Davids??
I love him!! He has such a calm but exciting vibe. I love his passion. I just loved seeing all my favorite youtubers all together
OMG, nearly got an orgasm! Sarcasm off.
Meeeeeeeee
His dog?
Yes I recognized him immediately. I watch his CZcams videos.
You gotta hand it to Thomann for understanding how to do PR in 2019.
...and to Mary for knowing to film the whole thing for "content!" Great stuff.
Around 1:50 I got so incredibly excited because I seriously thought she was going to play âspace dementiaâ by muse
YAAAS me too
same
Yeah same. I was omg its Space Dementia my favorite song by Muse and shes about to play it for us.
Lool same
My house is starting to look like this
Mine too. Crazy.
As a bedroom/hobbyist musician, I am so envious of you for getting to hang, create, etc with other like-minded people.
WHAT? Chris Buck, Paul Davids and Nathan Navarro together in a Video with Mary Spender. Specially Chris and Paul made me love more my recently acquired Stratocaster.
I went to a Nita Strauss VIP session and asked about working with people at Thomann, more specifically you. She said you were a blast to work with and really knew your stuff. The quality of these videos proves it
Thanks for the tour. I have to bucket list this visit!
So jealous⊠what place for music geeks⊠I recognized many CZcamsrs⊠how fun
The editing is amazing
Everything looks so cool
Great job & awesome!!
Okay, this is a big Musicinstruments Store, but we also like little Guitar Shops in Berlin/Germany with many old Vintage Guitars. Small Shops with Charakter and good Peoples are very trendy
This is awesome. Loads of youtubers that I watch chilling out with each other with amazing musical talent just inspires me.
I made it to the end, Mary! Love how you are taking the step to expand your creativity to Podcasts as well. So far your content on the other media is super, so I am excited to find out what you will bring to the podcasts, so that I may also enjoy your creativity in the daily car ride to work. Keep it coming Mary, you're doing great!
By far one of the most earthy presentations i've seen on youtube. Amazing job MarySpender :)
All the greats that I sub to. Pete Thorn and all. But the highlight of it all was to see Chris Buck. Very very inspirational guitar player.
Rowen170 Yeah bit of a special player
I just got a "Cabronita" Tele with "FLT Roswell" pickups from HB for 90.- used, but like new.
Greatest bargain in my life. They make incredible good guitars for the value.
I got one back in May. Love it!
I made it to the end, Mary! I'm quite nervous about recording myself at a studio but I really want to do it, so it helped to hear you talk about the struggles of starting something new
First time visitor to your channel and Iâm now subscribed. Great video, itâs so great to see such a place and just wonder at it all! Lovely experience for you and all the other you-tubers. How have I missed you until now?! Glad to be around your channel Mary Spender :)
the joy you felt there is tangible and contageous, thank you for this feel good trip.
Thanks Mary!! Another awesome, positive and inviting vid. Nice to see Paul Davids and Know Your Gear Phil all the way from Arizona, USA. I've been eyeing a Harley Benton TE-90QM HH, the Roswell humbuckers sound great.
And they said Infinity War was the most ambitious crossover event in history
Maryâs vocals give me the goose bumps. Sheâs such a great musician/artist. I would love to see some east coast US show dates. đ
I just bought a Harley Benton BANJO from Thomann!! (beautiful), Shipped all the way from Germany to Las Vegas!!! And now I know how to properly pronounce Thomann!!
0:56 heavy is good, heavy is reliable: if it doesnt work, you can always hit them with it
Loved this video!! And I think a podcast is a fantastic idea!! Looks like you had an amazing time :)
I made it to the end Mary! I really enjoyed listening to your podcast and some topics really struck a chord with me (no pun intended). I'm not a musician, but I'm really bad at not putting the stuff I am working on "out" there as I feel I huge sense of vulnerability while doing so, and I'm bad for just finding way to delay putting my stuff out! However, kudos to you for working through this and sharing about your experiences. I'm going to finally put stuff out there! Looking forward to the next podcast!
I rarely comment on videos, but every Chewsday I can't help but want to tell you how much I like the charm and pure joy you bring to your videos. Can't help but smile.
I made it to the end Mary! I loved your podcast. Your approach to pushing yourself to try new things has inspired me to do something new. I want to produce a record in the next year. I have been a live sound engineer for many years but never produced a recording session. I know I have much to learn but I will do it, even if it only sells 10 copies. It is something I have always wanted to do. Keep up the good work.
You've got some Piano chops there Mary! Very nice!
Just subbed - I've been watching some of your vids lately and they're brilliant!
You are in great company these days ... so many peeps I follow đ
Cool, thanks Mary, fun trip through the place. It seems like itâs a never ending maze of amazing rooms, how many floors are there? Great job!
4:28 ....and then a wild Neely appeared, roaming around it's natural habitat clutching dat bass.....
A rare SammyG appeared
I laughed out loud at his lil face
Can we please get some CZcams couples already.
Harley Benton was around when you were young! I bought my first Harley Benton Bass in 2005.
I saw the Glenn Fricker comments in the section below and I didn't even notice him in the part at 4:07 because it was so quick. I had to rewatch the video to see where he was. Best part of the video and it was 4 seconds long. Lol
So, this is Thomann, it is a long way from Western Australia, but I see they deliver here as well - perhaps they need a southern hemisphere presence too. Very interesting to this old Aussie muso, thanks Mary!
Mary... Love the violin playing! Love you!!!
Nice! Glad you had fun.
Looks like your having fun as always!
Mary is funny and natural! Great video, what a nice store! Greetings from Paraguay, South America.
Great video, I would love to visit Thomann's someday. I also just listened to the first episode of your podcast and I really enjoyed it. I made it to the end, Mary.
Great video! I enjoyed it a lot
All my favorite CZcams peeps hanging out together.
So you guys do all get together in a smoke filled back room and decide how youâre going to control the direction of the industry.
I knew it.
Great video. The CZcams guitar community is so awesome.
Thak you so much Mary !
I love your own style and like you do it.đ There is so much happyness that's incredible lovley đ
It makes me speachless sometimes. You inspire me so much anywere and anytime, to reach the next level on my guitar.
I wish I could meet you one day.
Stay as you are, I have an eye on you đ
I made it to the end, Mary! đ Great job!
Made it to the end! Just found your channel. Love it. Subscribed. Don't drop the custom strat needs to be recorded and released. â€
All my favorite guitar You Tubers in 1 video. I subscribed after seeing this.
Fantastic content! I can't wait to visit one day!
I made it to the end, Mary. Not only of this video, but the podcast as well. It was really entertaining to listen to while tinkering around. Quite a few things I found I can relate to. Hopefully this will be my gateway to more of these great podcasts.
P.S. Your voice was oddly satisfying to listen to, even ASMR-like. Speaks volumes of audio quality, at least to me.
Next time you're in the US, you should totally make a trip to Sweetwater if you've never been there!
I especially enjoyed the creeper @ 4:28 LOL!!!
Just subscribed to the podcast! Can't wait for more eps!! :-)
Great video!!
Liked your part in sultan's of swing, great talent.
Love this... one of the place I can't wait to visit.
Same bro
wo ist das geschÀft?
When will the podcast be available on iTunes? Iâm really looking forward to checking it out... I love your content!
Hanging out with like-minded people and friends in this huge music store sounds like a damn lot of fun :D
Also, dropping a CS Strat sure isn't so bad if it's already reliced haha
Great place! The first time I went there I was blown away!
Seeing all of my heroes together was awesome, amazing video!
Lovely blue bass at the start Mary & then double basses too? Oh girl. Lovely stuff. Glad you all had a killer time at Thomann Uni. It was great to see all you cats having a boss time there & it looked like so much fun. Keep it up girl. Thanks. X. ;)
Nice - I want to visit this place once. Hope I meet someone from this group there đ
ITS SO AWESOME TO PEOPLE WHO PLAY INSTRUMENTS TO BE ABLE TO EXPERIENCE PLAYING INMSTRUENTS THANKS THOMANN
Nice Muse song on the piano.
Talent has no boundaries.
Nice doesn't begin to describe this scene, I'am loving their sense Of cooperation and community! What a playpen, the muses are in the air! Similar to San Francisco, in the sixties, I Think. Rock on Mary
lovely video!
Been there twice. Bought a flugelhorn mouthpiece the first time and a flugelhorn the second time. Thomann is a musicians Disneyland
Cool đ cheers from Portugal đ”đč
You are truly a treasure, Mary. and....I never joke about Ice Cream!
There is a guy who made violins on the Beara Peninsula sadly he moved to Cork
đit is always so interesting to watch our British folks in england there so cool đ
the 5 first seconds perfectly describe how i feel everytime i am holding an expensive guitar
4:29 see that guy in the back
Lol!
Great store to visit for sure
I'm there next year. I got quite excited watching that! Just about to hit 10k subs. LOVE my CZcams journey.
This is awesome Mary... Cheers. You are an amazing musician. Paul Davids is one of my guitar heros.đžđ€
Wow , talent everywere... all the youtubers I like.
Love Gearhead University, it's like a giant toy store for musicians and they let you play with the toys, thank you for the tour.
Dee-lited you got to go to Thomann. Its a 90min drive for me, but with the cost of gas, I have most everything shipped to me (which is free). If I have any gigs or business in the Bamberg area, I drop by at least once a year.
Looks good!
what an awesome place :) many thanks
I have a Harley Benton as my first bass and I love it
Loved it!
It's nice but you should correct: it's not "The Largest Guitar Store in Europe" but The Largest Music Store in Europe!
It's neither of them both, the largest music store is in cologne
@@Travis646 Thomann is the largest (online) seller of musical instruments in Europe. Music Store Cologne is the largest store in Europe (although I hate their store...)
@@Tintop Largest retail space does not equal largest store
@@discinfiltrator it does. Everything that's not retail space is warehouse or offices. And a warehouse is not a store, it's just a warehouse.
@@Tintop It doesn't, because MusicStore is the largest in terms of retail space, but is far behind in terms of stock, sales, and many other measurement units
Yeah Yeah Your Awesome đ
But this store just tripped the light Fantastic đŸ
Amazing thank you đ
a trip to thomann is always a nice experience.
two very experienced luthiers i know have also been blown away by Harley Benton guitars.
Whenever need somehing a guitar or whatever belongs to making music,Thomann is my first choice.
I live in germany and when i order something they faster than a concorde.Great people, gits and so onđđ
Awesome! Glen Fricker!
This is like they made a Super Smash Bros. with all of Music CZcams.
Great video as always. A lot of very talented people there. Of course great PR for Thomann...there is a hard headed marketing reason behind all this but, hey if they can sell gear and do something good at the same time that works for me :)
great vid I would love to go there
I always buy online from them, but never saw the store..............fantastic, thanks 4 sharing
same. :)
