Mark M mine shows wear. I spoke with Sti and it is in the areas where it is normal to wear. It seems to be common but there are some out there with minor wear showing.
You seem to be the perfect person to answer my question, seeing as how you're knowledgeable about STI's lineup and are a bigger guy. I made the mistake of shooting an STI DVC Carry and fell in love. I have been researching their entire lineup on which I would want to buy for home defense AND carry (they are so pricey I would like to be both). It looks like the DVC Carry is now the DVC C, which (by the stats) loses out to the Stacatto P due to 5 more rounds at just .25" longer. The DVC 3 is 1.25" longer and seems to be the better shooter. My questions; 1) Would you be able to successfully conceal a DVC 3? 2) Have you shot a Stacatto P? 3) If so, does it come close to the shooting for the DVC 3?
BeefcurtainBurp I personally am not able to comfortably conceal carry the 3 gun. I would be good with a a dvc carry. You can still throw a larger mag in there when it’s at the house. If you are good with carrying a full size 2011 I would stay with the 5inch. The 3 gun and combat master are 5.4 inch and with a full 140mm mag def have some weight to them.
Nice detailed, thought out review, I have no doubt you shoot the 3gun better, because of the weight difference with those long barrels. When I bought my CM, I actually hadn’t realized it was the JW3 gun, I saw the movie, but I don’t think I was “into” guns hardcore like I was when I did buy it, and liked it so much strictly off the aesthetics.

Having a lighter pull trigger, doesn't make the shooting a little of insecure feleling?, I mean I preffer a more heavy pull trigger, it gives me a feeling of security

I Do not have an XL but they are essentially the same gun. I have heard people have preferred the XL over the combat master as well
