I carry a Glock 30 ( .45) as my daily carry. My partner isn’t as competent with using firearms so I just keep a small .38 special revolver around for her in case she ever needs it because it’s kinda idiot proof.

Hey Guy..how about doing some videos on the guide rod install and where, when, and how much the extras are. The full length rod and extended slide lock, and the grip panels etc. I have not been a 1911 guy for years. forgot almost everything. Thinking about a adjustable trigger as well. Mayne you can list the vendors. btw. mine runs all ammo good even Reman. from Freedom munitions etc. the Tisas DS with the threaded barrel is a great value as it is. but a few things could be changed out that I agree with you. so keep somw videos coming on how to etc. and where to get parts. thanks for your effort..

also I forgot to ask about alternate trigger and mag longer or smoother mag release

I got that second version in December 2018 direct from STI, but I ordered mine with the black DLC barrel. Still shoots great after 25k rounds through her.

Congrats! I found a used one at a local gun shop five years ago. Got to use it a few times and then the plandemic hit, so I've put competing on the back burner for a while. I've had a couple of fellow competitors try it out, they were extremely impressed. Have you shot it yet?

I just got a new P model and am putting on a PT hero grip as well. Will one of these triggers just drop right in or sill there need to be adjustments made

mec-gar is a quality magazine manufacturer. they used to make factory original magazines for Sig and Beretta until they went in house to maximize profits.

Great looking gun but that lead time and price range aren’t worth it for me. I’ll stick to my proven for duty Staccato’s.

Bought mine in January. Lots of issues with tight chamber. Just sent it off will see how Springfield armory does

How's it running after you shot it and how many rounds through so far?

I have the 10mm NS and Mine was involved in the recall. Sent it in and got it back two weeks later with a fantastic trigger and an extra magazine. Impressed with how they handled it.

Traditionally the nipple at the bottom of your bushing wrench is to take apart the magazine for maintenance. Tisas included the .45 mag to encourage you to buy a man's gun

Just for anybody who might have the same problems I had, my nightstalker in 9mm came with an extractor and ejector for 45acp. Once i change the appropriate parts, it works great. Among the problems i had were failure to extract about every 5 rounds, and empty cases in my forehead.

I get the arguments about why not just buy something that is better quality out of the gate. However, people buy berettas and send them to Langdon or CZs and send to Cajun GW all the time. Not sure how this is much different. Cool video
