I apologize about my absence from BookTube, work is getting very busy at the moment and I only finished 2 books in the month. I hope to be doing a March & April wrap up combined soon which I will have 6 books to cover, of which all are hits. I look forward to becoming more active here once I am used to being busy again! It was a trying week for sure. I am not sure I want to film this format of video again for that reason lol. I suppose it all depends on the reception it gets however.
Really miss your videos. Hope all is well. If you read "The Angel and the Assassin" I recommend "The First Survivors of Alzheimer's" by Dale Bredesen. I think you'll find it interesting. Really looking forward to more videos from you.

A year later, and guess what? That set of The Makers of the Modern World is on sale again at the Univ. of Chicago Press...and I thought of you! I was like, wow, I wonder if he's read those yet...do you have any feedback? This 30-book set is only $119 at the press website, but dang....it's a LOT of books. Wondering if it's worth the shelf space. Hope you're doing well...we miss your vids!

Great haul! Such a wonderful deal. I'm going to have to go check out the website. I'm all for promoting consumer culture; I mean, if we can't have some socialist utopia with everything provided for us, then we might as well maximize our capitalist credibility, right? If you don't want to wait so long to open the packages, you could always just film a little each time and clip them together or release short haul videos for each box. I don't think people would complain either way. This "God Helmet" sounds really interesting; I think I might enjoy the Spirit Tech book.
