Silly question why can't you use the capacitor as the stock and minimize the plastic use in the design, have you thought about using a paradoxical choke to induce spin on the projectile. Great work im looking forward to seeing updates
It's not a silly question, you could certainly use the capacitor as the stock. The reason I didn't was to keep the wires running to the coils from the capacitor as short as possible. Additionally, I have been thinking about building a stator to create a rotating magnetic field that can spin the projectile.
