  • This video demonstrated how to remove the tweeter from KEF UniQ speakers, since I can not find the info online, so I just made this video to share.

bought a ufes pair of C75's and both had seized tweeter and mid-bass unit.. the glue outside of the tweeter got old and mucky and stuck the whole thing together..couldn't even force the woofer to move..
but thanks to your video, i was able to salvage it by removing the tweeter and cleaning the voice coil..
added a 'normal' good tweeter to the speaker by inverting it and putting the lower bass unit
    to the bottom ..
    sounds great...

Glad you got your speakers fixed. I like KEF uniQ design. actually their 50 anniversary edition is UniQ design.

Are you sure it wasn't ferro fluid? not glue. Should be cleaned out and replaced with tweeter level ferrofluid

Thanks good work. Did you do any repairs on the tweeter? I need to replace the ferrofluid is my guess.

My tweeter was bad, the voice coil broken which tested with multimeter. Was very hard to locate a replacement so I sold it online, someone bought it from France.

Do you have one of these tweeters for sale? My NT19 tweeter in my KEF C55 is dead.
    Thanks
