We don't have big heavy machinery to help us move and clear out our cedars, but when we come together, it just proves that anything is possible with some good friends, and the will power to get it done! Thank you for playing it, I haven’t been able to go to church for a couple years now due to physical problems, and now COVID-19. Watching church on my iPad is ok but just not the same as being there. My dad was a lumberman/ sawyer but his power chain saws were much larger than these. He was a workaholic. He had his own saw mill too.

Look forward to see what you make with some of that. Cedar chest is so nice to hold winter or summer clothes.
You can kinda use the smaller stuff for fire wood too. It burns hot. Chip a lot up for dog bedding and mulch around the house to keep the bugs down and for Jason some for his composting. Also make small bags of chips to sell for people's closets, etc. The drone shots really show how many you do have. I wish I had that many. My house would be all cedar 😁

If people have never cleared out a brake of cedar/Juniper trees,they have no clue how difficult that job is. It brought back memories of Gary and me clearing our property 37 years ago. I could smell it with the fire burning. Merry Christmas and God bless.

You have a "gold mine" with having cedar trees!!!! My boyfriend has 54 acres with most of it being trees. I know all about all the hard back breaking work that goes into cutting down and moving trees along with so much brush/branches to burn! We have so much downfall and it's so hard to get into the different wooded areas to pull it out!!! We have some 4wheel trails but the size of most of our trees you need a tractor to move and the trails aren't wide enough (we do have a small but very old tractor that has a lot of issues that we can use some times when it's on the outer part of the woods). Awesome job you three with the cutting, moving, burning and milling to come!!!!!! You are so lucky to have each other as friends to help each other out! What a huge blessing. Also Alex, great camera work with the eagle and armadillo, the drone footage, the music, and the wood work, etc!!!! Merry Christmas to you Jacob and Alex!

Goes to show how seriously badass our great and great great grand parents were to clear all that pasture and farming land back in the 1800's with oxen and hand saws.

You can make some pretty Live Edge window and door trim Cedar. Also could make some really pretty shelving and benches out of it. I used to work at a sawmill doing this kind of stuff and made a lot of rustic Live Edge things that sold very well
That is the plan to make some cool stuff

I was singing along to the old hymn "Leaning on the everlasting arms". Don't remember the words, just the chorus. My grandmothers church that I went to as a girl in mississippi wasn't air conditioned. They handed out hand fans with Bible verses on them. That was a favorite song they sang there.
