Made from a high iron stoneware clay and reduction fired with a variety of crackle glazes to 1290ºc over a nine hour period. If you've got any further questions about the process please do let me know in the comments below.

1. This is a new kind of ASMR I didn’t know I needed. 2. As a polymer clay artist who has tried pottery a couple times sir my hat is off to you and your skill. Keep up the amazing work.
This is so relaxing
I love this! so relaxing and satisfying
That's so satisfying 🙃
i'm not american but i love your work i like your channel very successful for you
Also can we get an equipment vid? I wanna try this!
I would recommend going to a few pottery classes first to try! I did pottery for about 2 months this year's past summer and it was so fun. It takes a lot to get used to and it gets very messy, so before you invest, I recommend trying it out somewhere!
It takes so much patience and practice, along with countless hours. Good luck!!
I love it

What is the glaze? It is so perfect. Is it something you have made or is it purchased?
Watch the other version of the video. He explains his process there.
your hands are very skillful
Con las sobras del material que haces?
Hi Florian! I was wondering, why do you use a different oven for the glazed pots? Thanks!
The small electric one is for the first firing, it makes the clay absorbent so he can apply the glaze better.
I think it's also a lower temperature so in theory the pots would be functional but brittle, but it also makes the process quicker and cheaper.
In the second firing it reaches a higher temperature to melt the glaze and also make the clay hard. In this case he uses a gas kiln so he can create a reduction atmosphere which brings up different colors than you would get if firing in an electric kiln with the exact same glaze.
@@ekosh6266 Thanks for the explanation! I didn't know the firing is different when you use a gas or electric kiln, but now I do :)
@@sannekelder3868 you can do both firings in electric kilns, he uses gas just because of the special atmosphere (and maybe it's also cheaper)
🙂 nice
Are you checking the squarnes by eye or with a square. Nice video, enjoyed.
Hi
I found your video is very nice🤩🤩🤩.Which type is this clay. In my country i saw red clay but it will not turn greenish colour after made into pot. But your clay turn greenish colour after reduction.☺️ So please provide me about the Clay

Hey how much did ur clay weigh?
Call me dumb, but what is that little knife-lever-thingy towards the top?
I think it's just like a marking gauge or whatever
👏👏🔥🔥
This guy's arms have got to be massive

How did change there colour?
Initial firing changes the colour a little and then when Florian adds on the glaze, when it's heated it changes colour
Good luck
