PWC cruise lever operation

Guessing these are for models without cruise. My 2018 Yamaha FX does have factory cruise control, but you still have have to keep the throttle lever pulled back after engaging it...if you release the lever it will disengage cruise control. My workaround was a large o-ring.

Correct… mine has the same, not cruise but speed control, sets the speed to a certain level but you still have to hold the trigger. This device allows you to let go completely

Do they float in case it gets knocked off.

They do not float. I keep 2 on my ski
