Clarification: He got out after 13 months served out of just 4 years. I don't understand how "good behaviour" is a thing in this case. Considering what he did he obviously has no idea how to behave and according to reports he didn't think he did anything wrong.

This is precisely France, on paper it's a western well organized country, then when you actually go there you see it's run down and dirty, the public installations are broken, the streets look like a mix of Africa and Middle East, the place is generally unsafe, but if you are a normie middle class honest working citizen, the local law enforcement will milk you dry with fees and fines while doing nothing to secure your safety. Never in my life I'd like to live in there, although I come from a country considered less developed.

I lived in Paris almost all my life, this city is a SHITHOLE, a real true one. You could do a video about the "Paris syndrome" that a lot of Japanese people experience. It's when you wait all your life to be able to afford a trip to Paris the city of your dream, and at arrival find the dirtiest, noisiest, badly organized city you have ever seen. In a matter of hours you can be insulted, assaulted, have all your belongings stolen, get lost in an absurd complex subway system to be finally fined for not having the right ticket... A lot of tourist find themselves in a deep depressive state after such experiences.

The standings were Rebecca Andrade, Simone Biles, and Ana Barbosa of Romania. Ana celebrated thinking she was a bronze medalist but in gymnastics, gymnasts can put in an inquiry to get judges to review their score if they feel like their score wasn't fair and Jordan's coach did one for her since they didn't credit her for an element she performed. It bumped her up to 3rd knocking Ana out of contention. To make things even worse, another gymnast-Sabrina Voinea-was fourth place and was given a penalty for something she didn't actually do. Her coach filed an inquiry as well, but it was immediately rejected since the judges can only change difficulty and not penalties or execution scores. This resulted in an upset with the Romanian gymnastics federation who fought to appeal the standings. Many fans immediately went to attacking Jordan when it wasn't her fault and was the judges for not scoring her or Sabrina fairly the first time. 5 days later, the IOC decided that Jordan's coach put the inquiry in "4 seconds too late" and put her back in 5th place. There is speculation that they will strip her medal from her as well. It's heartbreaking for all 3 girls involved and no one should have their medal taken for the judges mistakes. They're only supposed to take them if someone is caught cheating so the best solution would have just been to give them all a medal but that was too much apparently

He took sliver without any special tools, they should have awarded him gold on principle alone. If you've ever fired a weapon, you understand just how much a minor improvement in sighting technology makes; and the fact that these people are firing pistols custom tailored to each shooter and most people are using a advanced sighting tools while firing out of a twohanded grip while the silver medalist fired from a single handed, double open eyed sighting shows that he is a FAR superior shooter than anyone else on that field.
Most people believe that what he pulled off was a miracle; they don't realize that what the IOC did to him in terms of scoring is actually a travesty.
If I'm not mistaken, he only got Silver because his teammate got a worse score, rounding it down

Honestly, to me, Its always about whoever can control their hands and hand sway, more so than actual sights, they all didn't use any kind of gun sight, just equipment to cover one eye( which you can do for free ) and those anti blur lense, I do think they can have sever impact on performance

The games are also about self-fulfillment, so Yes, In principle, Dikec nailed it, he did his absolute best, and got a Silver
This doesn't undermine the efforts of the team which got Gold, as long as they play by the absolute rules of the games, they are worthy of that position, unless ofc, they feel like they cheated because of that gear specifically.
But yeah, sports Regulations allowance does mean that something is not that "Overpowered"

Yusuf the Turkey Olympic shooter really had the stars align for him to make such a huge sensation. If Turkey had designed anything but a plain white shirt, the average viewer wouldnt have identified with him as much and he also had a belly. He went into the Olympics with the drip of an average dad but landing almost perfect shots. He resembled the fantasy of a humble and wise main protagonist thats why everyone was attracted to him. Cool, relatable and full of memes.

As a Christian myself I felt so disrespected when I saw the Last Supper being mocked.
I won't agree with presenting Yusuf Dikeç as a "social media" phenomenon which will soon be forgotten. He has demonstrated a good sportsmanship and has proven that even in such a highly formalized and "sanitized" event as olympic pistol shooting one can achieve a decent result without following all the "latest and greatest" fashion in sports and by using an outdated technique which is closer to the real life skill that the sport once represented. His achievement is quite in line with a spirit of honest competition and was an impressive show without an intent of making a show. He totally deserves his fame and the friendly attention he got from the viewers.
P.S. Besides, the man has quite an impressive list of achievements in different disciplines of competitive shooting.

Maybe I saw the wrong Nile when I visited Egypt, but Egypt is the #1 country in the world for tourist traps. The rivers are polluted with sewage and dead horses.
We took a tour boat ride on the Nile and people were generally friendly, but the river stank like a sewer.
Funnily enough, people were cleaning their clothes and drinking from the river. But we were exclusively told NEVER to do that!

Depends on the country not the continent itself 🤷♀️ in my country people might not have ac in their own homes since it's hella expensive for a private person, but hotels, malls, restaurants, museums, etc... all have some kind of ac running. Heck, even a good amount of vehicles used for public transport have it.
