I get that everyone is on the ASUS hate bandwagon but that's not the point of the video. Next week the bad guy will be some other company. Just like it always is.

Today is more relevant than a sponsored/free sample review. Love your work but this is a terrible take. Tacit support for Asus is not a good look.

@@Adam-gi1dr Im not supporting anyone. This board didn't even come from ASUS. Nothing is ever free mate. This is not sponsored this is me wanting to show something interesting on the internet. I guess I'll just quit CZcams and not make any videos about stuff I like tinkering with because someone made 1 video about a company doing something bad. No one is going to make a video about when any company does anything good because that's the internet. It's a different company every other week. Do you know how exhausting it is to be told by people every single day that what you are doing is wrong? I guess I should just start rocking up at peoples jobs and yelling at them from across the street telling them that they should stop working because the shoes they wore to work that day were made in a sweatshop. We are people too.

@@GearSeekers It's about reading the room mate and holding brands accountable instead of dismissively writing it off as just another thing that happened this week. People are getting scammed by brands creators like yourself promote and that is a big deal for the audience given the creator space is rapidly shifting to affiliate driven marketing. It's a shame another creator didn't handle this sample board well, but you know that is how the business works and your AMD marketing rep can easily arrange another for you via any of their partners. Either ignore the issue or don't be dismissive of very legitimate concerns from audience members. Oceania may be a different situation with Asus, but In North America they are a shit show on their service end. Deflecting by the whataboutism of "well have you have a bad exeperience" is weak, as is the play to mental health and trying to assert your authority over "arm chair experts". Weak.

Hold the phone. That's not how this works at all. Who am I scamming? If you'd bothered to watch the video you would have known that I said that this board is too expensive without the features it should have. Getting my "AMD marketing rep" to send another board. THIS TOOK 6 MONTHS TO ARRIVE. Usually I wouldn't bother with replying to this type of comment but the amount of misinformation is off the charts.

The crazy thing to me is how "reasonable" the prices for threadripper motherboards are. You do pay a premium for the cpu, but mobos are not bad at all.
Meanwhile, other "gaming" boards are $600 usd plus. Some are over 1k usd, don't get me wrong, I love over the top boards when the looks are up to par. As at that price point is looks you are paying for.

Most "Creator" users rely on lots of PCIe Lanes when it comes to Workstation drives for OS and Programs, Samples, Cache and Output, and all their graphic and audio cards Speed rather than Cores, because more than 10 to16 cores are a waste of money. Those 4+1 things are prime to us. Most of us have a server. Let us hope these things are prime for editors.

No the previous guy is an idiot. It was done by them not ASUS. I know people are on the ASUS hate bandwagon because of 1 video but that is basically only telling one side of the story. Ive had good and bad experiences with ASUS over the years. The last person who has this is an irresponsible idiot. This hardware came from AMD not ASUS. The blatant disregard and disrespect is insane. ASUS is the bad guy this week. It will be someone else next week.

I've personally had a good and bad experience with them as well as Razer, Corsair, Sony LG etc. If you dont like a specific brand dont buy it, if you see one being put on youtube like this video and then brand isnt your thing, why stress out the content creator for wanting to share his opinion on a product?
Well im still eye balling the Asus ProArt Z790 Creator Wifi Motherboard as my next board to put into my corsair 5000D case so please ignore the bad comments and continue to make content. If they want to give their opinion on gear, then they should start their own channel and voice it.
