I'd be running Linux as my daily right now, if it weren't for two things: horrible gaming support, and I couldn't get Xfinity streaming to work. In my latest attempt maybe six years ago or so, I had the Manjaro distro as my daily for three months. I took a break from games and it was working well for me, except for Xfinity streaming. I gave it three months to get that working, but no joy. There were also little niggling issues like I could set the default refresh rate to 144Hz but the setting wouldn't save - it would always revert back to 60Hz. But that problem wasn't exclusive to Manjaro - it affected every distro when I ran the proprietary nvidia drivers.

Most of linux users uses linux to work, and if they don't have a xbox or playstation, the same computer boot into windows to game.
So, common, we just want companies to help Linux Kernel guys and give then drivers for their devices, without need of reverse enginnering.
