Uhhhh, you’re kidding right? Since the Vegas game they’ve been outstanding. It took getting Tuch in here and for Granato’s system to take hold. They play at the pace they had since the beginning of March, they’re in position to fight for a playoff spot. That’s reality. The first half of the season should not be factored into the team’s current identity. Consider the fact they lost Eichel, Reino, Risto and a few other pieces to begin the season, it’s this coach’s FIRST full season with the team, they didn’t have Tuch until later on…. and they STILL improved 8 spots in the standings over last year. This is a good team that could be damn good if they get a friggin goalie.

I'm a die hard Flames fan, and we're killing it this year but I'm not going to look like a dummy and say we're going on a run. Minny, Colorado, St. Louis, and some of these other western teams are good. NHL playoffs are unlike any other sport. Anything can happen. Calgary could go on a run or they could get pumped in the 1st round.

Koski has won the Gagarin cup twice in the KHL before coming over to the Oilers, so he has more post-season success than most goalies. It's not the stanley cup, but he knows how to win tournaments.

If you're gonnna talk about the fans and attendance, most are fed up with the lack of a winning program. Some are upset with the direction the team has gone with bad trades, Gutting Scouting, cheap contracts, (spending less than 1/3 of the salary cap limit) and unwillingness to get the front office in line, Similar to what the Panthers have done.
