One thing I did differently in replicating this portion is, instead of putting the redstone lamps over a redstone torch with a trapdoor on top, I simply put them on them on the ground with a moonlight sensor on top. That way they come on at night & turn off during the day.

I'm thinking of making this a village. A man owns a house plus plenty of acres in Dark Hollow called so because of the rich growing soil. When a bunch of survivors from a pillager attack comes into the area he makes this layout but with houses. The barn is to store the crops that others grow. They are governed by at least one father, hunter, gather, shop owner. Mr. Dinwill is the owner of it all.

You can build it on both versions it may just look a little different if you have mods or shaders on in the Java edition

I suggest dont make tree areas instead build some flower garden designs over there . Trees can be grown anywhere you want outside the area or anywhere
