@@amanda3673 Can cactus grow on a single block of sand? I thought they had to be on a 3x3 plot of it
@@prismhelm yeah they can grow on a single block of sand, inless thats only bedrock but ive seen java farms use one block for their cactus farms

I've put trap doors over fully grown berry bushes instead, but having them up where I can see it to harvest makes sense
I just built this on my realms for my granddaughters! I can't wait for them to see it. We love playing Stardew Valley and Minecraft together. This is the best of both worlds :D I can't wait to add the other parts to it!

@@LionClawed if you are creating a new world for this build you can just load a flat world, or in a regular world you already have, just a lot of terraforming
@StephyJean thats a bummer I have to do a BUNCH of terraforming. Been doing it for a week and not even 1/4 done
@@LionClawed I get it, mine took a while as well. But I liked terraforming in my existing world rather than just creating a new world for this build because it gave me a ton of resources and I could put it exactly where I wanted it in my world. Goodluck!

Tis a wonderful game! Farming, mining, fishing, relationships, exploration... It's incredible!
@@jokelethkurueisner9229it's also highly tedious, not too much direction, kinda just throws you in after a few mini tutorials (little explanations). it's hard to get into, but it pays off if you dont lose motivation (played it for an hour and it is now covered in dust on a shelf somewhere lol)

I decided to make this on my survival world on a mountain next to my base. It took me 4 real life days to prepare and level the terrain (plus like 40 chests worth of wood and stone lol) and 2 real life days to build the rest. It was really chill and i took my time, thanks for this it looks awesome!

I've been using your guides to build stuff for my niece and he thinks I'm the coolest uncle ever
Well my first big base was very ugly but then i decided to do a base that is build into the mountain at first i only wanted to beat the game but when i did i saw my ugly base and decided to renowated it, it was the best decision in my life i spent 4 years renowating my base and im still coming up with new projects to make it pretier and this video reminted me of my beginings in that world.

Hi theres a small mistake. In the list of materials for the melon and pumpkin farm, the spruce planks are called "spruce fence". So obsessed with this! Can't wait for part 2!
