It's moving. My husband got cancer in 2019... He's 3 years cancer free, by the grace of God. 💕 I'm so happy to still have him.💕💕
It's been 4 years now. He's waiting for me in Heaven. I made him promise to wait by "the gate", so when this song said that, I knew it was meant to comfort me. I would not have chosen to go first because I know I would never want him to believe I'd leave him for any reason. And I never wanted him to have that pain. I loved him from the first time I saw him and as his wife I've loved him for 52 years, but 4 years ago I learned how much I really loved him by letting him go first.
