I met my husband and he was 6 months out of prison. He still had that prison mentality. Something kept telling me he just needs someone to believe in him His family treated him awful. Fast forward 14 years. His mother passed away and at the visitation he tells his older brother, I am not that stupid kid who went to prison. My wife has softened this heart and helped me find that good man.

I was dating this girl for about 6 months. Have always had my guard up due to my heart always being beaten and scarred. Long story short just when I decided I was ready to let it down, she told me a relationship isn't what she wants with anybody because she needs to grow and focus on her goals right now. Looking back I'm glad all we have are great memories, moments, laughs and I gave 110% to make her feel special like no one else had. I have no regrets because i'm not the one that will always wonder "what if"? Boys take that chance. Do your best, always be a man of your word and live up to your name. My mom was starting to get sick a couple of months ago...She went to see a bunch of specialist to see what kind of sickness she has. After 3 months they finally found out what it was. My mom never told me what she had until one day I saw her medication sitting on the counter. It said it was some type of cancer. Since then my mom can barely move. My heart breaks every time I see her in pain and there's nothing I can do. Love you momma❤️

But she still loved me no matter how my outside changed. I don't weigh that much any more. I swim 4 miles a day and even pushed myself to do 12 miles in 7 hours one Saturday. My wife, at 60, learned to swim and can swim a mile now. We bowl in 2 leagues together.

Thanks but I have doubts my life will ever get better. 31 years and a lifetime of trauma. I don't even trust good when it does come into my life anymore because of everything. I played this song for my wife almost a year ago now while she was taking a bath. She gave me that smile she gave me the day I fell in love with her. She is my whole world. I've never been so in love in my life. We have been together for 6 years and would have been married 4 years in April...unfortunately we have been falling apart the last 6 months...and yesterday we finally split...I'm very much a wreck today but the reasoning for this comment is to spread some wisdom and make sure you don't make the same mistakes I did. Always communicate. Make sure you listen and respond and start conversations. Make sure you let your spouse know that he or she is not alone in the marriage. Help out and keep the stress to a minimum. Don't keep having the same fight once a year. Make sure you both fix whats wrong. Stay safe and happy in life guys.

I'm probably the last person that can give relationship advice but take her to lunch tell her how you feel. show her that you love her. I've learned from experience that as you are with someone for a long time it feels sometimes that that fire that was there when you first got together starts to fade bit that's because you get busy either with work or being patents. some people stop "dating" their significant other and focus more on kids and stuff. it may take awhile or it may not work at all. but it's worth a shot. I would hate for you to not at least try to go get what you want then to regret not trying later. like my dad always said the best things in life are the ones you have to work hard for

My husband always sang this song to me. I tragically lost him 2 months ago, after 19 yrs together. The last 6 months were filled with difficulty and being unsure about his feelings towards me (PTSD symptoms ramped up and an emotional affair coming to light). Night before last, this song played and sent me rushing to the restroom at the restaurant/bar I was at to have a break down. Later that night, it played again in a completely different social activity/place. Today, I had a post in my FB memories where he left me a love note, telling me to play this song. Usually, I try to remain level headed and not read too much into coincidences, but I think he really is trying to let me know! And boy, do I ever need to know! ❤

I met my husband in high school. We started dating my senior year. He proposed 4 months of dating on Valentine's Day. We got married a year later and had our first child a year after that. We have 3 kids together and have almost been married 19 years in July. This Oct we will be together for 21 years. So many people said we were to young but look at us now. We have 2 teenaged boys and an almost preteen girl.
