    what kind of metal do you guys use? mild steel cold roll or hot rolled? what kind of tips where used on air hammer?

      I've been trying to find some myself lol, it almost looks custom. im going to assume its cold rolled usually what I use.

    what gauge do you guys use for metal work ?

      Mainly 18 gauge or 19 gauge. 19 gauge is a bit more difficult to get (special order only at a lot of places), but is easier to work with if you have a panel that needs a lot of shaping. The guys may use 16 gauge. if they're working on a panel that is more structural like a firewall or trans tunnel.

    What thickness sheet metal do you use?

      It depends on the application, but generally 16 - 19 ga.. I think the guys prefer a certain kind of 19 ga. for body panels that have lots of curvature, can't remember if it's hot rolled or cold rolled. I'll try to find out for you.

      Thanks! It's a Chevrolet Performance 502 with a Borla stack injection intake.
