Geforce Now Review 2024 After 1 Year | Issues | Worth It?

I review why I've decided to unsubscribe from Geforce Now. Is the service still a good one? Why have I cancelled? Would I still recommend it?

Love Geforce Now and I've been using the service since lockdown, the only thing that worries me is my service may degrade if I move house.
Game saves were unreliable when I first signed up, sometimes my game saves would leave me hours behind, game saving is solid now. Buying top of the range PCs is no longer my cup of tea, for now I'm sticking with the service. I don't use the top tier, I'm happy with Geforce Now.

great service so far. I only have 3 cons. Steam workshop is a real problem. I find it only works well on ATS and ETS2 - no wheel support. and no audio comes out of your XBOX controller - so I believe you must use a Bluetooth headset for the audio. also Game selection is pretty limited. But still worth it for me as I can't see myself spending thousands on a PC and upgrading every os often. So that's the price to pay to not pay a big price hehehehe - Also I find the phone custom service is very labored as they outsource the tech support so I am sure they are using VOIP - the delay in the convo is pretty brutal - I rate the service 7.5 on 10
now vs 4 years ago it has become alot more stable from my own experience the service platform in terms of the user experience even on lower speed connections its alot more stable than other cloud gaming service providers like boosteroid which has one little pro that geforce now dont that it has a bigger game libary but geforce now is known for being more stable. Only downside it dont always got the games one like or want on it like valorant is a big wanted game on this platform or gta 5 or rockstar games for that matter

Btw dude have you tried boosteroid its like a hbo for games were geforce now is like netflix of games only pros that boosteroid got that it has a bigger game libary than geforce now
I haven't really. I got offered a free account not long after they launched but tbh I was going round in circles with them and gave up. From what I understand the way they get their games onto their service is a little dodgy but it's working for them up to now. From what I've heard the games they have and GeForce now don't have are because of licensing which stipulates the game has to be installed onto a device which doesn't apply to GeForce now but it does apparently to boosteroid as you have to click install from what I remember to be able to play a game. I'm playing solely pc and Xbox ATM but wouldn't rule anything out for the future. I want to get back to doing more stuff for the channel but I haven't had the time for one thing and for another I've been pondering which direction to take it. I do like transport sims but have become disillusioned over the past couple of years with Devs not supporting or making them into cash cows with new versions and dlc. I'll still do some of those but I'm seriously considering doing rts and tbs as they have more depth and therefore more to talk about.
I don’t get it other than I don’t really play these types of games. I save games on GeForce now all the time like my saved game files get saved you’re not turn on the setting or something I don’t know why it’s a issue for you, but I live in the crashing part I don’t know I don’t really play these types of games. All I know I can deal with living in my savings. I’m still keeping you with Now because I can play anywhere on my favorite game.
I thought I'd replied to this sorry. It was mainly Train life. Most if not all others did cloud save but when I bought my laptop I noticed they didn't always sync.
@@beetlnees yeah I found that out. I was wondering because I wanted to find why I have to download mod’s constantly when I’m trying to join my friends server on ark but I figured out it only works if you own something from Steam or if it’s a steam download it mod. But thank you for replying back now.
