So Happy for you and John!! I have followed you since I retired in 2016. Watching your videos, I have learned so much, but most of all, to you is this. Keep doing what you and John need to do. Trust at my age, some days I wish I was doing what you are doing at that age! I worked Like hell for 40 years in one job and one employer and was a workaholic while doing it. HAve lived that life, and watching you live yours, there are parts I would have traded it for. You are a bright, funny, and very relatable young woman with a lot of life to live. Now grab your hubby and get with it !! Look forward to the new content you will create. Just purchased the new MacBook Air 15 inch should be here on Tuesday. Looking forward to cracking it open. I hear you. I lived in Houston/Austin the first 24 years of my life. Then I moved to NYC for a few years, and was fortunate enough to get opportunities to relocated to Singapore and Korea for about 10 years. My brain got rewired for the cities, I walked everywhere, every weekend there was something to explore. Now I’m back in Texas for the last 5 years, and while Austin is certainly a cool town, I miss the exploration of a new and big city.
I love the combination of "here are the facts" discussions of the how and why mixed with artful montages that capture the emotional upheaval. Great video

Appreciate the honesty in your vids about moving. We moved back "home" right before covid, and realized it just wasn't for us and felt like it wasn't the right fit. Moved to our small college town that has ended up being perfect for us.
We've always been the ones in our group to move a bunch so I get the struggle of trying to listen to all the advice and please everyone. Happy for you guys and hope LA is exactly what you need!

Congrats on your move. I was excited to see you move to Texas and show off the building you had where people could rent space to create videos. I'm excited to see this next chapter of your life. You are definitely right about 2020. I feel like I am still recovering from that year. It took a lot out of me, and things just seemed to get disastrous afterwards. It's an uphill climb, but you got this!

Me and my fiancé are currently (basically for the last 2 years) looking for a new place going in on our 5th time moving. Everything is overpriced or it doesn't fit our lives. So I think it is very normal to struggle with stuff like this. When it is right for you guys, then don't let anyones negativity get to you. Wishing you just the best in your new home! ✌

21hr roadtrip from Texas to La. Very kind of your mom to join and support i am sure wasnt easy for her to see you two moving away when LA is much more expensive and crowded but as you said "friends" are there so it makes sense. California and the Coast is awesome i know the area and drove LA LAs Vegas and down the coast already :).
21 to 22 hours, depending on the vehicle, bathroom stops, and the weight of one's right foot. 😅
