The C operates at all times except late nights, making all stops between 168th Street in Washington Heights, Manhattan, and Euclid Avenue in East New York, Brooklyn via Central Park West / Eighth Avenue in Manhattan and Fulton Street in Brooklyn.

Aww, that used to be my everyday train. I would always take it from 168th Street to 50th Street to go to school.

If you manage to do a timelapse of the A train, would you do a far rockaway bound train? It's so rare on CZcams and the trip through jamaica bay is really nice especially after renovations after Sandy.

+Dj Hammers Do you have a plan for this? Lines such as the Rockaway Park Shuttle in particular are very difficulty to do because there is no RFWs on the R46s - just that little rectangular box.
+SparenofIria I'll figure out a solution. Sometimes, cars like the R32 and the R42 end up running on others lines once in a while by chance.
Dj Hammers True, true. But when (if?) Bombardier manages to finish the R179 order, the R42 fleet will be retired, so I don't know how much of a chance there is on certain lines (Canarsie comes to mind, but it's *possible* to use the R160s' windows, I guess).

Are there any above-ground lines in the subway? I enjoy the New York skyline.
Yes there are. Most of the trains have an above-ground portion on their routes. Only the C, E, and R trains are fully underground. But if you want to look at the Manhattan Skyline on the trains, it'd have to be in the distance as trains don't go above ground in Manhattan.

Dj when you said the tiling has a order an the Fulton line doesn't use that order, why is that?
+hockeyboss 689 he probably means how it goes back to blue after utica/ralph/rockaway, red is usually at the ends of the line. though this could be a result of the line being built in sections.
hoyt (green express) -> lafayette/clinton/franklin (green local) -> nostrand (yellow express) -> kingston-throop (yellow local) -> utica (red express) -> ralph/rockaway (red local) -> BACK TO blue (bway juntion)

Wondered why they always used r32's on the c line. The best choices to go for was to use r68's on the C line during years like 2004-2013, then 2013 we are given the r160's the after r68's again, then back to r160's, the current fleet for the C.
I rode that to Manhattan
Nice ride...but it makes me miss the days when it went to Bedford Park Blvd in the Bronx to 116th St. Rockaway Pk.

As far as of what I know the only lines that are fully underground are the 1, C, E, G, S (42nd St)
And dont forget the r train
The 1 goes over ground somewhere around 125th Street and in the Bronx maybe after Dyckman. The G stops at Smith & 9th and 4th Avenue which are above ground.
If you look at 1:48, you will see a station in the bottom left corner of your screen in the gap between the express track.

Why is the C 8 cars?
Lenke Williams Lack of cars for the most part. However, there are R46 trains assigned to the A and C Line and are 8-car trains of 75-foot cars.

+Dan Negron I'm going to wait until the sun starts setting very late in the day, probably in mid May, then I'll get footage from the A line on that run that's done with an R32 in the PM rush. Unfortunately, that interval goes to Lefferts, rather than Far Rock. Hopefully that will change with the next pick.
The legendary 76th Street station might lie East of Euclid Avenue.

They should extend the C to Ridgefield NJ via the George Washington bridge.
That'd be really bad considering having to close down the GWB to create a subway route and then laying down the tracks in NJ to Ridgefield, not to mention having to blast more concrete to make connection available to the GWB

+Nicola Antonazzo The type of train this was filmed on has a front window that passengers can look out of. Filming in the subway is 100% legal. I just put my GoPro (with suction cup mount) right up against the window glass.
